Fishing With Grandpa

Good morning everyone & happy Saturday to you all!
It's time for a card!

This little project was made using decoupage & matching papers from the
If you don't fancy the CD, you can buy the printed sheets here.
Such a sweet little scene, brings back memories of those long, lazy,
 hazy days of summer!
Made me want to sing too! Gone fishing.....

My card base was cut with a Grand Nestie die.
I used a mat of plain white paper then matted the design papers
on to the white & blue. The fishtails were cut by hand.
Some little fish charms, twine & a button were added to embellish.

A little view of the side, you can just about see that I have
decorated the inside too!

Here's the inside! A similar layout to the front, but
with a little punched border under the panel for the message!
Thanks for visiting today! I hope you enjoyed your time here!

Silver Wedding Anniversary

Good morning all & a very happy Friday to you!
Today I have a rather special card to share with you!
Or rather should I say a card for a very special occasion to share!

Yep, it's 25 years since my hubby & I tied the knot!
Not sure where those years have gone but boy have they been fun!
The photo's aren't great I'm afraid as time was limited & all
that mirror card just kept flashing back at me!
I made an A5 card, using linen embossed card stock.

I blew off the dust, then cut the shapes & numbers with my underused Cricut.
The white panel under the numbers was embossed with a cuttlebug folder.
I the wrapped the panel with silver string , stuck on the numbers & attached
the TH so they were hanging in the 5.

Next, I tried something I've been meaning to try for ages!
I printed my sentiment on to some vellum then embossed before
the ink was dry. I then fussy cut around them.

The final addition was a little heart, cut using my Cricut.
I added an insert with a beautiful poem I found, which
just sums us up totally, in my mind anyway! lol
I had a lot of fun making this card, fingers crossed hubby likes it too!
Thanks  for popping in!

This is a little CAS, A6 card made using the beautiful & elegant image
just one of the many beautiful ladies available at Just Inklined!

Here's a closer look!
I've coloured her using watercolour pencils then fussy cut her out.
The  base card, matting & layering are all Linen Embossed
cardstock. I love the texture of this!

The sentmiment was done on the pc using a font called
Respective Slanted. You can find it here free.
A perfect elegant font to match such an elegant image!
The only embellishments added are some little pearls.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like my little card.

Just Inklined To Hop - Christmas

Good morning all & welcome to this month's
Our host this month is Karen L who has chosen Christmas as the theme!
If you're already hopping, you'll have arrived from the lovely Karen J's
blog! I bet she had something stunning to show you!
Without further ado, here is my card

I've made a twisted easel using Snowman Buddy he's just so adorable!
I think he'll feature on many of my cards this year!
Now, if you're anxious to hop on, your next stop is Tammy's blog.
Before you go, don't forget to leave a little blogger love at each stop,
you just never know where the spot prizes might be hidden!
If you want to know a little more about my card, read on!

Here's a closer look at my cute little guy!
I've coloured him up using flexmarkers & promarkers.
Cut him out using a die & inked the edges with a promarker.
I used a blender to soften the edges.
The papers are my latest find in Lidl! I just love popping in
for a mooch around every now & then, as you just never know when
crafty bits might pop up!

The sentiement was done on the pc using a font which you can get
for free here. I love this one for Christmas cards.
I have added a touch of glitter using a Sakura Clear Star pen
but I don't think you can see it very well in the photo's.
The embellishments I have used are some twine, a little
silver Christmas tree charm & a die cut snowflake!

A look at the fold from another angle!
Now remember if you're hopping, your next stop is Tammy
but, don't forget to comment along the way!
