Happy Birthday Joyce

Good morning peeps!
It's been a while I know! I'm Not getting much time in my craft room
over the summer months but I did manage to make this little card
for Joyce, my dear Mother In Law's 80th Birthday today.

The base card is 8"x 8".
The papers are from the My Minds Eye, Best of Paisley pad.
The gorgeous image is So Chic For HOLLY, by Rick St Dennis
She's perfect for my MIL as she also  has two poodles!
The image was coloured with a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers.

I made the sentiment button in my graphics programme.
I've included it in Png. form below.
If you'd like it, just click on the pic & save to you computer.
All I ask is please don't share, send your friends over to collect it if they'd like it.

The lace & vintage style seam binding are from my stash.
I used spellbinders circle dies to cut out the image& entiment, then
distress inked whilst still in the die.
The fish tail was cut using a square punch.
The inside was decorated too.
Thanks for popping in today, I do appreciate your visit!

I'd like to enter this card in a few challenges:

80 Years Young!

Good morning all! Hope you are all well!
( I must apologise for not being up to date on my blog commments.
I've not been feeling so great this past week but I am trying to catch up,
so please just bear with me!)

The card I have to share with you was made for my lovely  Dad
who celebrated his 80th birthday yesterday!
Happy Birthday again Dad!

I know he likes these colours & he likes Marilyn Munro
The card base is 8"x8" I do enjoy working with this size of card!
The papers are from my minds eye.
The fantastic image is from Marilyn from Ike's Art. I've used her several times now!
I coloured her lightly with flexmarkers the cut out with a Spellbinders circle die!
I used the layout from Paper Play Sketches & would like to enter their challenge!
Isn't it fantastic!
I changed it to a square & instead of adding further embellishments,
I used Tea Dye distress ink with a film strip die & some sequin waste
as stencils. I used a bit of Kraft CS for matting & layering!
The fish tails were created using a square punch.
The sentiment button was done in my graphics programme.
If anyone would like it, please just ask!
The ribbon & lace are from my stash! I do love adding a bit of lace to cards
for men, as long as it's not too flowery or sparkly!
Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by!

Jessie's Bingo Birthday

Good Morning & a happy Friday to you all!
I was asked to make a card for a friends neighbour.
The only information I was given was that it would be her 80th Birthday
& that she likes bingo!
Here's what I came up with!

I just couldn't find a digi image that I liked anywhere!
Luckily,  a crafty friend, Lindsay,  owner & artist for the fantastic LEJ Designs ,
came to the rescue & drew this image especially for me! What a Star!
She also did another which I haven't used as yet but I reckon I will soon!
If you'd like the image contact Linsday via her shop & ask her to add it!
I'm sure lot's of people would love to have a Bingo image to colour!
The papers, letters & money are from a free page which I found on
The circle sentiment button was made in my graphics programme.
I tried to match it to the bingo balls on the paper!

I coloured her with a mix of flexmarkers & promarkers.
I cut her out with a circe nestie & inked the edges wth a liquid chalk inkpad.
I tried to create a look of smudged lipstick

Four little £20 notes all stacked up (adding up to80 yeah)

A side view showing the BINGO letters arranged around the image
& the sheer ribbon double bow which had actually been tied for
another project but hadn't been used.

The inside of the card.
Jessie was apparently over the moon with her card! Yay!
