I just thought I'd remind you about the challenge over at

Our theme this time is Lady Luck
Which you can interpret in anyway you like.
Try thinking out of the box, break it down,
"Lady" "Luck"
I'll be back with my little DT creation in a few days!
In the meantime, get your thinking caps on! lol

Happy Anniversary

Happy Saturday bloggy peeps!
Here's today's little card for you!

This was made using The Wrinklies CD Rom from La Pashe
The DP is from the CD too! Looks just like a stripey sheet doesn't it!
This is a little topper with a lovely couple & their fur babies!
I printed everything on to Print Perfect.
They have just the right weight of paper for every occasion.
I die cut the topper with my favourite circle nestie & used a scalloped circle
as the mat. I love how they fit together & they fit so many styles of project!

Here they are all snuggled up in bed together!
I'm so looking forward to getting some new fur babies to
snuggle up with! lol The flowers are made using the DP
& various sizes of daisy punch, with some shaping & layering.

I chopped up the insert & added the Happy Anniversary to the front
then added the rest inside! The punched edge is done with
a Papermania border punch, Daisy Doily

A few little self adhesive pearls to finish off & voila!
A really quick little card to make!
I reckon this took me about 20 mins including the printing!
(The little flowers did take a bit longer!)
Thanks for dropping in!

A Room With A View

Good day to you blog lovelies!
How are we all today?
Well I hope!
Here I am today with a card for Just Inklined!

A bright & cheery Birthday Card for a lady!
The papers are my latest find in TK Max from American Crafts.
The image I have used is
Room With A View

This version is from
The Best Of  Just Inklined 2012 CD Rom
There is a very similar digi here at Just Inklined.
Just a couple of very subtle differences.
I used my usual combination of Flexmarkers & Promarkers
to colour the image, then cropped it in close to get the
best view from the window!

I'm not sure where the Birthday Button is from as I've had it printed
off for ages. I coloured it to match & matted it on to a die cut cog!

A little side view to finish off with, just to let you see the little
yo yo flower that I made from some broad sheer ribbon.
I found the ribbon in my local haberdashers bargain box.
The button was from my stash. Thanks so much for dropping by!

Welcome to the May Just Inklined Blog Hop!

It's my turn to host this month so the funs starts here!
The theme, I have chosen is "One For The Boys"
I know many of us find it difficult to make cards for the
men in our lives so I thought the design team could give you
a little bit of inspiration!

The image I have used is Throwback Fred
He's such a handsome chap! Joiner be day & party animal by night!
I made the sentiment myself a while back.
If you're anxious to hop on, please do!
Here is the blog hop order
Dawn (That's me)
So your next stop will be the awesomely talentd Tammy!
Don't forget to leave a comment at every stop as we always have
a prize or two on offer for someone who leaves us some
love along the way!

Here's a closer look at the handsome & debonaire
Throwback Fred! He's such a fun guy & he's been coloured with
a combination of Promarkers & Flexmarkers
The little hammer & saw are brads, I think they are from Woodware.

Here's a closer look at the sentiment.
The distressed edges were done with a pair of serrated scissors
& sponged with Antique Linen Distress ink
The papers are from First Edition Bo Ho Chic & Papermania.

Here's what I did inside! I like to add a little decoration as
I feel it helps the balance of the card!

I've included the sentiment here for anyone who would like it!
Please don't share but tell your friends where they can pick
it up for themselves!

Thanks for hopping by! I hope you enjoyed your visit!
