Football Crazy!

Good Morning everyone!
It's Monday once again & time for this weeks challenge over at
Eureka Stamps, where the theme is

The cute little image I have used is
(It gets a bit confusing, as we call Soccer football in the UK! Lol)

I used a 6"x6" square base in grass green.
The papers are by Papermania & I've had them forever.
I coloured the image with my promarkers, then cut out
with an X-cut square die.
I inked around the edges with a Colour Q
liquid chalk ink pad, while the image was still in the die.
The sentiment was printed, trimmed & then inked.
The photo corners are from a Sports themed scrapbooking set
that I found in a bargain bin at a craft show.
 I do love a bargain, don't you?
The die cut trophy is from a blog candy that I won years ago.
The little die cut fishtail was in my scrapbox,.
Thanks so much for popping in today, I hope you like my card &
I hope you can play along with this weeks challenge!

Match Of The Day

Good Morning All
Happy hump day!
I have a card to share with you today!

This 8x8 inch card was made using the Match Of The Day sheet, from the
Flipping Families CD Rom. You can also purchase the pre printed
decoupage sheets or downloads from La Pashe.
The papers were also from the CD Rom.
The little grass border was a die cut, not sure who the die is by.
The little footballs were cut from one of the papers & layered for
a bit of dimension. The sentiment is from the sheet & the little
die cut trophy was part of a candy that I won eons ago.

Here's a closer look at the main image, layered up using pinflair glue.

Here's a look at the inside of the card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh no, I've done it again, another square card! Sorry!
This is Larry Lane & he loves to go bowling but,
sometimes in life as we all know, Split Happens! lol
The sentiment is part of the Larry Lane Set

I coloured Larry with my trusty Promarkers then cut him out with a
square nestie, I did a bit of shading with a flexmarker but I'm not sure
if you can see it on the photo's.
The digital papers & embellishments are from the
Ten Pin Kit at Peppermint Creative
I also added some little ribbon tags which I secured with brads
which have been in my stash forever!

The inside of the card has a bit of decoration too!

Life's A Beach on the Dude Time Doodles New Release Blog Hop!

Happy Wednesday all!
It's time to grab a coffee, sit down relax & take in the sights along the way
on the Dude Time Doodles New Release Blog Hop.
The Dude & Dudette's have some great works to showcase
this month's new images along the way.
If you've arrived from the lovely & uber talented
Ruth's blog you're right on track!
Now remember the hop is a circle hop with no beginning & no end.
Just jump on in & start hopping, remember to leave a little love along the way
as there will be a mystery host/hostess with a little prize to give to one lucky
person who leaves a comment!

Here's my card!

I thought I'd bring you something just a little bit different this week!
I made a centre stepper card using a template from the lovely
Debbie Lauder atCraftystash you can find it here

If you're in a rush remember to leave some love then hop on right away
to the awesome craft extravaganza that is CG's blog!

Here's how I made my card!
I decided to make a little beach scene!

I printed a sheet of A4 card with a freebie paper called
Sand from the E Paper Kit Beach Day available from here
then printed the template on the reverse!
I added some waves from the Mostly Mostly Sunny Paper Kit at My Grafico

This is the new release image, he's called Jacques Waterman!
As you can see, he's just arrived at Dudeville Hollow Beach
& is a whiter shade of pale than the rest of the guys!
Still, he's decided to make his entrance with a splash!
As you can see in the photo, he's suspended on a bit of acetate to
make it look like he's diving into the water!

I decorated the back of the card with a couple of panels to write on
& some of the waves paper!
The other dude's on my card are already in store & are:
Babe Watcher best lifeguard in the business!
Santi Beaches (you know who) having a well deserved break!
Last but by no means least Waylon Waves is hanging five in the background.
A ribbon ruffle & button sun & a sentiment ticket from
The Crafty Pad Designs complete my card along with
a couple of beach themed metal charms.
Thanks for hopping by!
I hope you have time to complete the hop  don't forget to leave some love
at each stop along the way!
Have fun fun fun!!!

Born To Run!.....Or Is It Leap?

Good Morning all!
Happy Wednesday all!
Are you ready for a  Blog Leap?
As it's the 29th of February, we've decided to Leap instead of Hop!
Yep, it's time to show off the newest arrivals in Dudeville Hollow!
AKA Dude Time Doodles
Meet Jon Jogger!
He ran all the way from the UK to Dudeville
& he never looked back!!!
Wonder what he was running from???
Do you think it might have been an unwelcome proposal???
It is the 29th of february after all!!! lol

When I was colouring Jon up, I was singing Bruce Springsteen's
Personally, the only running I have ever done is for a bus! lol

If you've landed here from the wonderfully talented Anne, you're on the
right track for the Leap! If not, just keep Leaping & you will
get around all the blogs! It's a circle Leap with no beginning & no end.

So now. if you're anxious to get on with the Leap, pop on over & visit
our Kevin, the only Dude among the Dudettes!
Before you rush off though, don't forget about the mystery host!!!
Make sure you leave a comment each time you Leap as one of us
will have an image to give away to one lucky commenter!

Here's a bit more about our man Jon!
Although now resident in Dudeville Hollow
Jon is still flying the flag of his homeland!!
I made an A6 Easel Card. The Design Papers are from Southfield Stationers.

I coloured Jon with my Promarkers & I added some Anita's 3d Glaze to
his eye & the beads of sweat. Shame you can't really see it on the photo!

I threaded some ribbon through the card & made a little rosette out of
seam binding & buttons from my stash which I stuck to my card using
pinflair glue to give some dimension.
The stop is the front section of the base which was raised
also using pinflair glue

I added some ribbon and a Sentiment Ticket to the stop.
This was also coloured with Promarkers

Here's an angle view just to let you see the construction!
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have time to Leap round all the stops!
If you get a bit lost, pop on over to the challenge blog & take it from there!
Oh yes, forgot to say, when this post goes live I'll be snuggled up
getting my beauty sleep! Goodness knows I need all I can get!!!
I'll change the links when I get up in the morning so they take you
directly to the Blog Leap posts & not just the blogs!

This Little Lady Definitely Has The 'Tude

Here I am back again with a card for
Please pop over & join us if you can! This weeks prize is a Digi's With Attitude! $10 gift certificate
Meet Cheerleader Tween, one of the newest Tweens on the block! She certainly loves life!
You can find her & all the other Tweens here in the Digi's With Attitude! store.
I coloured this little lady up with Promarkers. I then cut her out using my Nesties in the Big Shot, ran a Promarker around the edge of the scalloped circle to add a bit of colour and went round again with my Sakura Quickie Glue Pen. I then added some Diamond Sparkles. I added some sparkle to her pom poms too! She most definitely had to be blonde because as they say, "Blondes have more Fun!"

As she is so bright, bold & sassy, I had to make the rest of the card the same, so I matted her onto some fluorescent yellow & pink card which I punched down one edge with my Martha Stewart punch. I trimmed the top & bottom using scalloped scissors and added to a 5in x 5in scalloped card.
The fluorescent card I used was in a goodie bag that I purchased from Southfield Stationers ages ago and I didn't think I'd ever use it but this card just had to be bright!

I couldn't find any flowers or embellishments bold enough to adorn this card so I made my own.  I made the flowers using two different sized daisy punches and the fluorescent card.  I ran a large embossing tool along the back of each the petals to give them a bit of shape then I used the embossing tool again in the centre on the front. I glued the two daisies together & attached them to the card using foam pads of varying depth.

The sentiment is a freebie from Sentiments 4 You I coloured it with Promarkers & treated it in the same way as I did the image! I attached it using foam pads. I've left the centre blank & will add glittery numbers when the time comes!
Thanks for looking!
Happy Crafting!

Here's One For The Boys

Hi all, I'm back with my latest offering, it's one for the boys & is a footballer card!

I was asked to make this for someone at work who's son will be 30 next week!
The only things he likes are football & computers!
I trawled the world wide web looking for a suitable image! I didn't want anything cute as I don't think this guy would really appreciate that. I eventually found exactly what I was looking for at Mo's Digital Pencil Too!
He's called Soccer Dude & until I put the pics up, I thought I'd done a good job of colouring him. As soon as you see them on the screen you see every little fault! I used promarkers for the image and chalks for the back of the net!!! I cut the image out roughly & mounted him foam pads!

The football pitch base & goal netting were part of a free design by Jan McFarlane over at  Card Making Downloads!
The footballer is wearing the  Heart's of Midlothian Away Kit (or it's supposed to look a bit like it!)
I had to use the away kit as until today I didn't own a Maroon pen!!! Typically, it arrived the day after I needed it!!!

The sentiments were from Sentiments 4 You.

I love these tickets & decided to large this one & use it for the stop. First I went over it with green chalk Then mounted it on to black card & cut out the corners. I attached it to the base card using foam tape.

The 30 sentiment was made up of two seperate images. I added the age to the centre of the Enjoy Your Day! I then cut this out using a nestie & mounted on to the same shape of black card!

Thanks for looking!
