Baby Girl With Lace & Pearls

Good Morning all,
I'm back with another card today!
For those of you who asked, my first day back at work wasn't too traumatic
I actually enjoyed it if I'm honest (don't tell the boss though) Lol.

I used papers from my scrap box & a decoupaged image called
which was left over from another project.
The Double Decoupage download sheet came with both pink & blue images.
Useful for twins or just to have a spare!
The lace is from my stash as is the pink satin ribbon & the pearls.

Flights Of Fancy

Hi everyone, hope your week is going well so far!
It's time for my DT Inspiration for the latest challenge over at
I've made a little A6 CAS card!

I've used two of the images kindly supplied by this mont's sponsor
Doctor Digi's House of Stamps
The first image is Captain Thunderpants, the second, which I've cropped into the
call out bubble is Phyllis the Festive Fairy.
Captain Thunderpants has a flight of fancy that he & Phyllis will
one day fly of into the wild blue yonder together...........
although I'm not sure how Phyllis would feel about that if she knew!
I used my Promarkers & flexmarkers to colour up the images.

The sentiment is printed using a free font called winged.
I used a picket fence die to cut along the top of the image panel.
I also added the strip that was left along the top of the card.
Not sure why, I just liked the effect!
I added a panel to the inside which wat die cut with a Spellbinders Rectangle
Hope to see you over at The Crafting Cafe!
I'd like to enter this card in a couple of challenges:
CAS on Sunday - Gold
4 Crafty Chicks - Die Cuts

Welcome Little One

Hi all,
I have another card to share with you!
Sorry, it's a fairy! They seem to be right on trend just now! lol
This card is my DT card for the challenge over at
The Crafting Cafe. This month's, theme is

I've gone a little bit out there this time, with a little fab n funky style!

My card base is a 6 x6 scalloped square.
The DP I have used is from Lidl.
I always buy a load of these when they have them!
This image was supplied by our sponsor this month

The Stamping Boutique

I used a Martha Stewart Heart punch for the border, wrapped some
button twine around, then made the flower by layering up some
hessian flowers which came in a bag from Poundland,
& added a button centre.

Here's a closer look at the image!
I coloured her up with my flexmarkers then cut out with an
oval nestie. I inked with a chalk inkpad then matted onto a scalloped oval.

A little side view to show the decorated inside too!
The sentiment was created on my PC!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like my little card!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Love Hearts

I have another card to share with you!
This is the Valentine card I made for my husband. I couldn't take a photo
of it before as all my photo's appear on his phone too!

I wanted to keep it fairly clean & simple but a little bit in your face too!
It's an A6 base with an added a panel that was embossed using a piece of sequin waste,
then inked with a liquid chalk inkpad. The sentiment was printed directly
on to the panel using my PC. Next I cut two hearts from some red & white dotty paper
using a sizzix embosslit. I love how that baby cuts & embossed at the same time!
I covered the hearts in clear ink & heat embossed with clear embossing powder!
I wish at this point that I had some UTEE but I don't, so,
I repeat the process until I get the result I want!

You can see the high gloss here!
I added some red & white twine & tied a little bow just to finish it off!
I hope you like my little card which features another of my favourite techniques!
If you have a favourite technique, why not make a project using it & share it with us in the latest challenge over at The Crafting Cafe!

My Favourite Technique

Hi everyone, the challenge for February over at The Crafting Cafe is

Unfortunately, our original sponsor for this month had to pull out but Sammy,
one of the DT, has kindly stepped in to sponsor the challenge instead!

I have to admit to having far too many favourites to choose from!
I thought I'd share this card with you as my DT project.

It's made using a decoupage image, from La Pashe.

Best of La Pashe 2014 CD Rom

I cut it out & layered it up using pinflair glue then
placed on a round rocker card.

Not A Card - Take 2

Hi all, I'm back with my second post today!
This is the DT Project I made using a
Delicious Doodles image, for the new NOT A Card challenge at

I used Teri's fantastic Bark At The Moon image to decorate a candle!
I didn't have a lot of time but I really wanted to do this!
I printed the image on to tissue paper, put on to the candle then
wrapped with greaseproof paper & heat set it!
Next I added some black Jaipur Lace from my stash et voila!

I packaged the candle in gusseted bag with a card backing using a couple of glue dots
to keep it in place & added a little ribbon & a matching gift tag.
I hope you like it,
Don't forget to play along at The Crafting Cafe!
I'd like to enter my candle in a few challenges:
Mema's Challenge - Anything Goes

Not A Card

Good Morning all!
It's Saturday! Yay!!!
Were you all bothered with Ghosts & Ghouls last night?
I locked my door & put out the lights & watched a movie!
Mwuhahaha!
Actully, I was ready but no one came to the door!
The kids on our street are all grown up now!

Anyhoo, being the 1st of the month, we have a brand new challenge over at
There are two brilliant sponsors this month!

Our theme this month is
NOT A Card
Here's my Artbymiran project!
A little wine bottle topper with a pocket on the front.
I did intend to put something in there but hey ho, or ho ho ho lol!

The image I have used is Christmas Elf, I love this little guy!

I coloured him up with a mix of promarkers & flexmarkers,
fussy cut him  & added him to the little wine bottle topper.
(I found the file in the Sihouette store)
I added a few little self adhesive gem stars too!

Closer look at the  little cutie!

View from the side to let you see the pocket!
The sentiment was printed out, then die cut & threaded with
two colors of ribbon which were knotted at each end.
I hope you like it!
I also hope you can play in the challenge & make something
other than a card for a change!

I must apologise for not having a Delicious Doodles project yet but life got in the way!
It will be blogged soon so watch this space!

Thanks for stopping by!

Shades Of One

Good morning lovelies,
I hope you're all well!
I have a card to share with you today!
This is my DT card for the current challenge over at The Crafting Cafe.
Shades of One

I've used a Bugaboo Digital Stamp from my stash called
Bugaboo are one of our sponsors this month.
We are also sponsored by
(I had hoped to make a card using one of the images supplied
by them too but I just ran out of time!)

My card is a little A6 tent fold card.
I used my favourite Linen Embossed CS from The Range
for the base & added a mat of black CS which I embossed with
two little border folders, I think they are from Papermania.
The little baubles/lights are embossed & I
debossed the snowflakes for a bit of variety!

The image was partially coloured using my promarkers & I added some
Frosted Lace Stickles for a bit of detail!
(looks like they may have had a bit of a reaction with my pinter ink!)
I added some narrow gingham ribbon from my stash,
to the top & bottom of the image, just to finish it off!
This card is destined to go to a "Bah Humbug" type of person! Lol
I hope you like it!

Good morning all, my second post today!
(If you're looking for my Just Inklined card, it's here!)
It's time to share the DT card I made for
Where the theme for this monh is
Nikki has found this awesome photo to inspire you all!

Sadly, we can't link back to the owner as it was found it via a copyright free image
search on the internet & when she tried to find it again she couldn't!
If it's your photo or you know who it belongs to do let us know & we'll link it back!

So, on to  my card

I made a little Twisted Easel card using elements from the fantastic CD
Carnival Of Colour
generously provided by this months sponsor for the DT to work with.

Here's another view of the card, just incase you're unfamiliar with the fold.
Basically, it's a square card, with one side folded over on the diagonal.

I matted two different toppers on to some cardstock & layered with some foam tape
for a bit of dimension. The printed sentiment is the stop for the easel section.
This was also popped up on some foam tape.
A few little red pearls & a two colour sheer ribbon bow
were the finishing touches.

A final side view to complete the picture!
