She-ra Toys

Putting Christmas stuff away and just had to take a break for a minute (that artificial tree's branches sure scraped up my arm) to check email and write something on the blog for today.

All kids got dressed this morning racing each other. Then we had oatmeal for breakfast (Allen opted for toast instead, but Jane and Abby really liked the oatmeal). Dishes got loaded while the kids played and read. All three girls were fussing over Abby's ponies and castle set-up so I pulled down my She-ra castle, furniture pieces, and dolls and Rose Petal dolls too. I sat on the floor and put all the pieces together and showed them how things worked. Jane was the most captivated by it. She stayed there the longest moving the dolls around and she even wanted me to put a cape (a small accessory in the box) on one of the dolls. So cute how much older these two younger girls are and how much they like my old toys.

Off to go work more on packing Christmas away. I'm sorting a few things and trying to decide what we really want to haul with us to Sacramento. All the kids are watching The Rescuers so I can finish this project with fewer interruptions.
