Courtesy of the Stonecutter Archives is this broadcast recorded by the BBC of the Psychedelic Furs promoting their last studio album "World Outside." An FM version of this was uploaded eleven years ago on dime, but no tracklist was furnished, so it's unclear how this may differ from that version. There was also a reseed about eight years ago of an audience recording of this show -- based on that tracklist, about nine songs were omitted here for broadcast. Another three circulate on a BBC transcription disc. Although it wasn't noted anywhere on the tape, this is more than likely a first gen. Quality is excellent, although it's not without some choppy edits and the WDRE station ID zaps right into the start of the vocals on "All That Money Wants" in the most unfortunate way. Perhaps someday someone will put together a composite of the broadcast tracks and fill it in with the audience tape, using this as one of the primary sources.
