Notes by the taper lolive:
The POGUES were recorded for Radio-Bellevue at the ENTPE, not in the "traditionnal" venue which was too small, but in the school gymnasium. Not a good place for music but a hot concert for the Pogues in front of 1200 sweating people. For mixing the show, i've used soundboard outputs mixed on-the-fly(headphones) on Sony TCD5M with a couple of additionnal ambiance mikes (Sennheiser) standing in front of pa sdb. Some traditional mixing errors for the beginning....as usual.

A great show from a great band now sounds about as good as it's ever going to, with a real upgrade in audio quality. Intermittent buzzing and other sound problems prevent this from being really top quality, but it's classic early stuff for pogues fans nonetheless.

This was the 68th upload of my concerts collection recorded in Lyon (France) between 1982-1990, uploaded the first time on February 2007.

All my concerts were recording for Radio-Bellevue and Zap FM, so we have had

some technical easynesses to record these shows.

Sometimes, i left Lyon to see open-air festivals especially in summer, with my small mobile recording system.

The POGUES were recorded for Radio-Bellevue at the "Festival d'Orange" helded in the Antique Theater in August 1986

It was a pre FM recording for Radio-Bellevue (Lyon).
