Digital Art - Lady, butterflies & skeletons

These two are digital creations. The images are from Graphics Fairy apart from the strawberries in the lower picture. Both of the backgrounds are my own creations, the one at the top was developed from a hand made stamp & paint and the one below from skeleton leaves.

A kind of flower?

I used a 'found' shape to draw round for the 'flowers', I can't remember what it was exactly but it wasn't a flower shape. With a couple of friends, we have started a shape challenge, each week one of us finds a shape and we have to draw something with it. The flowers above were drawn before the challenge started, I have been doing this kind of thing for sometime usually when I want to draw something but cannot think what to do.
I've altered the picture digitally - below

I've been away for a week and one of the places I visited was Highgate Cemetery in London. I love the old Victorian cemeteries with the overgrown ivy

Tick-Tock & Soaked

The theme today for Illustration Friday is 'Soaked'. But my frog doesn't want to get soaked so he's sheltering under an umbrella.
{mixed media - paint effect background, brush pen/felt tip frog, digital brolly & alterations}

Safari & Octogirlie

Above is 'Safari' for the Illustration Friday challenge this week.
Mixed Media/Collage - I made some stamps from found objects, the text is a purchased stamp, dyes, acrylics; the giraffes are made from a stamped inkjet print I put together, acrylics, pen liner

Beaded Alphabet Book [O-Z]

 The rest of the mini alphabet book. This is an altered address book with the letters of the alphabet down the sides. I've covered the pages with art work, printed art work, found images etc, then I've put a letter of alphabet on each page and included some sort of bead/sequins, mainly on fabric. I had a personal challenge this year to use some of my stash of beads, although I have not used that many on this project.

These were spare pages at the back of the book.
On some photos you will see some metal tweezers, which are not part of the book. It was difficult trying to keep the book open while I took the photos.

I see blogger have returned the missing page & as I redid that page, there are now two posts the same ... oops.
