Farm Puzzle

We bought a gift at Cover To Cover and then went to storytime with Miss Karen. After we did puzzles. Jill did the farm one over and over.  Probably 12 times.

Sunday Skating

Sunday: up early for study and getting ready, journals, church (Allen gave a scripture in primary, Joshua 24:15; combined youth 5th hour meeting), lice check in parking lot after church, ward council, family home evening (taught by Ross--gratitude...playing Thankful Potato was the highlight), free time (I had a low blood sugar come on so I was on the couch taking it easy while Ross cooked beef taco skillet and kids shared around the kitchen), dinner and scriptures, mighty writing, ice cream, I went to a camp meeting while kids got ready for bed and played with kinetic sand. Ross put them to bed.
I love how her dress and roller blades match!

Blessing From Penney's

On Saturday we used a settlement gift card at JC Penney (buying four work pants and four Jansport backpacks for the girls (they each picked a different color/pattern)--almost $300 value for $60... Such a blessing! Then Jane and Abby used their free kids meal vouchers at Buffalo Wild Wings. We had lunch, sorted Abby's clothes and see, I took her to Walmart so I could buy her a new shirt and she bought makeup with her money. Then we went to Cover to Cover and I bought bookmarks for the young women. Later Ross took Paige and kids to the Rebels soccer game and I searched for a dance ticket. I found it in the nick of time and headed over to the high school to see one of my beehives' dance team shows.

Friday Flick With Friends

After school drop off we picked up Brett and then tried for Benny (but his mom said he was still sleeping so we let him and he ended up sleeping until after 11!). Went to the library and saw Miss Lisa at Mother Goose. Kids played pbskid games on the computer. We went to Walmart. We had lunch and Sean picked up Brett. Jill and I cleaned and were late picking up to kindergarten girls that had a field trip. And Abby and Jane were both selected from their classes to be part of Stoneridge literacy society--picked for their awesome writing and they had a pizza lunch with the school principal. And when I made Jill's bed I noticed all her extra "gator" friends--she was in charge of FHE this week so she gets Frieda on her bed and it was her prayer day so Perry is there too.

Then we picked up Abby, Allen came home, we prepared popcorn bowls for a Friday Flick (Beauty and the Beast), the DeBurgh kids came over to play, I did some head checks, made macaroni for dinner and the kids played/made art stores.

That night for our date we got street tacos and played Rummikub.

Dialated Eyes

On Thursday had an eye exam in the morning (a friend took twins to late start kindergarten) and was dialated (why? Because I'm lucky enough to have an annual eye exam to change for diabetes damage) and then took Jill to another friend's house to watch Jill so I could help an hour in twins' kinder class. I did the stampng sight words center. After school Allen got his Amazing package ( I noticeds the wrappings were all scattered about!).  I did a lice head check on my girls (still nothing) and then did one on Paige (Spring's daughter). Spring is out of town for a funeral and I knew Sean would have no idea. That night we had Russian chicken and mashed potatoes from two crock pots. I love when crock pots work their magic while I'm gone all day! :) Ross took Any to Chick-fil-A for musical volunteering cookie sale help and I have three girls a bath. Then he played basketball at the church. I got everyone in bed and then skimmed an entire book " When Calls the Heart" is based on. The TV series is a little better than the book. When Ross got home we talked, had a popcorn snack and a chunky fundraiser cookie!

On Tuesday I took Jill to story time (notice her short bangs--two older sisters did it), took down Abby's scavenger hunt advertisement, and took the young women to do laser tag that night.

Rollerskating in the Rain

On Monday before school Abby read to her sisters. At 11 I had an appt with a nutritionist. Jill came along and was perfect! After school the kids got out their roller skates and went outside. Then it started raining. Later they all tried it out in the garage.

Sunday Suit, Austin hair

On Sunday morning before church Allen put on his suit (totally on his own) and when I saw him, my heart melted!

We had church, the laurels were in family history center during third hour (and the computers were so slow during their time because another ward had joined the building... 3 out of 8 computers worked. The second hour all 8 worked...I asked if they would the stake could to pay for more wifi power and I mentioned it to two Bishopric members), chatted in "ward council waiting area", had ward council, had home teachers over and went to a stake youth fireside that night. The best part (and funniest) was when the stake president attempted to show all youth from the pulpit (with a laptop and overhead screen down) how easy it was to use the family search program... "This took two minutes at home, we've already used ten here. Things are going really slow." I couldn't help but laugh. Now the stake has personal experience (in front of the whole fireside) how slow the church's wifi is. Point proved. Haha.

Since it was rainy all day I used mousse and difussed my hair. I got a "I like your hair--looks like Jane Austen style" compliment. I wore my hair curly like that a ton in college.
