Hi all! Here are my dad's and my FIL's Father Days cards and I need your advice please! For my FIL's (Bill) card, I used a very old stamp from Magnolia' Lazy Summer Days collection called' Ocean Background scene'...
I love the sentiment inside the card, it says "wishing you calm winds, gentle waters, and smooth sailing" - it's by Paper Makeup from the Sailing By set (from Quixotic Paperie
here). My in-laws live in a village called Wargrave near Henley, in the UK and Bill has a gorgeous boat - their house backs onto The Thames and he has a lovely time sailing up and down it! I know he would love to take it out to sea one day, hence my card!
For my dad, I made him a more cosy card - he loves animals and the birds in his garden! I used Mo Manning's pile of pets called '
coexist' - sweet, huh?!!
Now I need some advice! I'm not great at grown up men cards - never know how much to embellish or not!! Are these cards too plain? Shall I add anything?!! Your advice warmly welcomed before I pop them in the post on Wednesday! Thank you!
