A very girly girly card

Hi everyone!  Hope your weekend is going swimmingly!  We are bracing ourselves in the UK for some really horrible weather tomorrow - baton down the hatches!

Ok, so I actually popped in to show you my Bellarific Babe card using the very sweet Angelina by Mo Manning...

I haven't made such a girly card for ages!  But I was asked to make a card for a girly girl so here you go!

Anyway, I gotta go now but see you tomorrow with my Lili of the Valley DT card - ttfn!

What can you do with static hair?!

It's also Bellarific Friday and this week we had a sketch to follow.  Here is my take on it...

This very sweet stamp is called Angelina by Mo Manning - what a very cute face and brilliant static hair!  I used Lili of the Valley Perfect Pair papers and a Cuttlebug polka dot embossing folder.

So the next Bellarific Friday is stitching.  Send your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!  I'm hoping to get some blogging done tonight so hopefully see you on my blog round!

I'd love an ice cream right now!

It's time for Bellarific Friday and this week we had a sketch to follow - here is my Bellarific Babe take on it...

I just love this sweet smiling girl!  This is Mo Manning's Lacie With Ice Cream and I matched her up with Design By Dani Beach Love papers.  I also used my new Cuttlebug triangle embossing folder (I guessed you were getting bored with my polka dot one!) and used My Favorite Things banner dies.

So for this week we have the photo below to inspire you...

Send your creations to Em by Thursday 1 August for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!  I will be back later with the last day of the There She Goes July release sneak peak!

Mmmmmm, cupcake heaven!!

Happy Sunday all!  Today I have my Bellarific Babe card to share with you - and this one was so fun to colour in!

used the fun and cute Cupcake Thief by Mo Manning for Stamping Bella.  I used Zoe Pearn Birthday Girl digi papers, the sentiment is from the Uptown Girls Isabelle Loves Her Icecream set and I topped it off with pink organza ribbon.

Okay, I am off now.  Thanks for visiting and I will see you later on my blog rounds!

Have a gr8 day

It's Bellarific Friday!  And it's an extra special Friday because we have a bank holiday on Monday!  So without further ado, here is my Bellarific Babe card and this week we had a sketch to follow...

I loved using this guy so much in this post that I had to ink him up again!  He is Mo Manning's Game On stamp and the papers are from the Authentique Celebrate paper pad.  I got to use some more of those zillions of alpha stickers I have in my stash too!  I am entering this into Mo Manning's challenge for anything goes.

The next challenge is to use kraft somewhere on your project.  Email your creations to Em by next Thursday 9 May for a chance to win $20 Bella Bucks (either by submitting a project or simply commenting on next week's Bellarific Friday post)!

Game on

You know, this is one of the best Sundays EVER!  Only because I'm off work next week so I know I don't have to get up early and commute to London - YAY!!!  But the downside is that I have to decorate a bedroom this week.  :(  Still, I don't have to go to work and that's the important thing!

Anyhoo, I'm here today with my Bellarific Babe card and it's a birthday card for a guy...

I know far too many guys like this!  And I have to admit that I am known to play computer games too, spending hours on such fun games like Broken Sword, Baldur's Gate...if I only I had more time to play them, but alas I haven't managed to get into one for a while now.

Back to the card!  I used Mo Manning's Game On stamp and I used Zoe Pearn's A Beautiful Thing papers.  I couldn't help myself but use my Darice chevron embossing folder again - I just love it!  I used American Crafts rub on lettering.

Right, I am off to enjoy the rest of my Sunday.  Have a lovely day and I will be back tomorrow with my Whimsie Doodles new April challenge DT post!

No one can EVER fill your shoes

Hi everyone!  well, at least the sun is out here in East Sussex, but it's still sooooo cold!  I hope the weather is good wherever you are!

I'm here today with my Bellarific Babe card using Mo Manning's Big Shoes for Stamping Bella...

Another adorable image by Maurie!  I've been practicing my pencil colouring skills again with some coaching from Sally who has helped me colour less heavily handed - I think I'm getting better!  I gotta stop reaching for those darker colours still and try with the pastels only.  I used Mari Koegelenberg digi papers called Sunny Daze and my Lil Inker Designs Stitched Square mat die for some added interest.

Right, I am off to enjoy the sun!  In my thick waxed coat of course...

Tolerance is a virtue!

(Please scroll down for my There She Goes /
Design To Color DT post!)

It's Bellarific Friday and this week we had a theme of 'For The Boys' and here is my Bellarific Babe card for it...

Ain't he a darling?!  This is Mo Manning's Tolerance stamp for Stamping Bella.  And yeah, I've never known a cat that tolerant!!  I used papers from the October Afternoon's Roadmap collection and dry embossed some kraft cardstock with a Darice chevron embossing folder.

And guess what I coloured him with?  Nope, not my Copics!  I always love Sally of Scallywag's pencil colouring so I got out my Prismacolors and had a go!  Here's a close up...

I need a bit more practice but I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out - a much more soft and artistic look than my Copics so I'll be doing this again!

Check out the rest of the Bella Babes cards on the blog here.  The new Bellarific Friday is the sketch below.  Email your creations to Em by next Thursday 21 March for a chance to win $20 Bella Bucks (either by submitting a project or simply commenting on next week's Bellarific Friday post)!

Wishful thinking

Hello everyone!  Hope your week is going well - only one more day to Friday and then it's the WEEKEND!  I'm here today with a make using some of my current faves in the Quixotic Inspiration store

This is a Mo Manning for Stamping Bella called Rae with Journal stamp.  The sentiment inside the card is from the Paper Makeup Little Moments Mini Sentiment set.  I used Bazzill kraft cardstock for the card base and papers from Cosmo Cricket Togetherness paper pad.  I created the flower using my Marianne D Chinese Rose die and used the leaves die for the Marianne D Flower and Leaf dies with beads for the flower centres.

Don't forget to check out the yummy new stock too, including pre-orders of the gorgeous new Sylvia Zet for SCACD stamps!
