Day 3 of the SugarPea Designs September release sweet sneaks!

It's day 3 of the  SugarPea Designs release and today we are showcasing an uber sweet set. This one is called Sniffles and Snuggles and when you see the image, you're gonna go "awwww!".  Check out my DT make using it...

Did you go "awwww!"?!  I kept this pretty simple - I tried adding embellishments but they just distracted from the gorgeous image!  I used October Afternoon papers.

Would you like to WIN this stamp set?! Hop along and visit with the SugarPeas and guests, leaving some comment love along the way! One lucky person will be randomly selected to win it!

I'll be back tomorrow with another sweet sneak so see you then!

Get well soon mum!

I'm here today with my Pixie Dust Studios guest designer project.  Today I want to show you a card I made for my husband to send to my MIL as she's not feeling very well...

I really like how this card turned out - not too soppy for a guy to send but also sweet enough to (hopefully!) melt his mum's heart for thinking of her!  I used Ron from the Happy Potter collection to create a little scene using kraft for the card base and My Favorite Things picket fence die cut.  I used papers from October Afternoon 9 to 5 collection and the sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Sophie's sentiment set - I love that natural handwritten font!

I've gotta go now but thanks for visiting and see you soon with another guest designer project!

Flower power and new release over at Take the Pixie Challenge!

(Please scroll down for my MilkCoffee Stamps DT post!)

There is a new Take the Pixie challenge with the theme of..

Flowers!

Instead of my usual rolled flowers, I went for some simple yet very sweet punched flowers...

I used Magnum Opus - I just love his glasses!!  The BasicGrey Origins papers are totally perfect for this challenge!  You can see more lovely flower inspiration over at the Take the Pixie blog!

And there is also a new  Pixie Dust Studios Schools Out release!

I didn't have time to finish my projects for this but will showcase them this weekend along with a rolled flower tute so I hope you can come back and check it out!  In the meantime, you can check out the newbies here!

Make It Monday sponsored by K 'n K Designs!

A new linky party has opened over at Make It Monday and this week we are being sponsored by the lovely whimsical K 'n K Designs!  Here is my DT card using Get Well Kolar...

Aaahhh!  These friends are so cute and I really enjoyed making this card!  Unfortunately their shop is closing down on 30 March :(  so all of their sweet digis are on offer in their shop here - Buy 2 Get 1 Free!  And you should check out their blog too - there's a couple of freebies as well as some colouring tutes.  K 'n K designs are offering the winner 3 digis from their store!

So onto my choice of last week's entrants.  This time I chose this lovely little window scene by Sheryl of Cat Crafty Craft Corner...

I don't think I really need to tell you why I chose it!  Love her soft shading and the embellishing just perfectly sweet too!  Thx for sharing with us Sheryl!

Okay, that is it from me today except to share a photo of my sweet Poppy, wanting some attention while I was studying last week...

And, yes, I am sitting there in my PJs!!  And, yes, she did get a huge cuddle!  See you later with my Pollycrafts Monday DT post!

Ribbons and buttons over at Pollycrafts Monday!

Please scroll down for my Make It Monday DT post!

A new challenge has opened over at Pollycrafts Monday and the lovely Lynsey is challenging us to use ribbons and buttons.  Here is my make using brand new release Celeste Amberglow Farmin' Apples...

These new gals are just brilliant!  My fave is definitely this one - must be the country gal in me!  Well actually, I grew up just outside London so even though I now live in the countryside, I can honestly say that I have NEVER worn dungarees!!

I hope to see you join in this week - it's an easy peasy challenge!  You can check out the rest of the DT's chilled creations and deets here!

    soRRy You feel so IckY!

No, I haven't forgotten my grammar!! I'm here today with a get well card because I just can't seem to make enough of these in the current horrid weather we are experiencing in the UK!!

This is for a male colleague and love this Paper Makeup Flubu Monster and that sentiment comes with him.  I used my fave Bazzill Smoothies Kraft cardstock for the base and papers from the Crate Paper School Spirit 6x6 pad - brilliant papers with this brilliant image!!  I also used Distress Inks stain in Picket Fence to soften the edges and papers - this is so easy to use for this technique!

And do you like my layout?  I used this month's Quixotic Paperic sketch - hope it has inpired you to play along for a chance to win a £15 prize!  Link your projects up here - I hope you can join in!

That's it from me today!  See you next Thursday but before I go, don't forget to check out the new goodies in store!

Anything goes over at Pollycrafts Monday!

(Please scroll down for my Make It Monday DT post!)

It's time for the next Pollycraft Monday Challenge and this time it's my turn to set the challenge...

    Anything goes!!

Well, I decided to get some Get Well Soon cards done as everyone seems to be dropping like flies with the 'flu around here!  I used Poorly Chester to make this...

Oh, I love Chester!  I just wanna cuddle this cutie pie!  I kept it quite fresh, using Sassafrass Lass Pooly Anna papers and my fave Stampin Up embossing folder to give it some texture and keep it from being too plain.

Did you know that Paula has put together a bundle deal for the Chester ranges?  You can get a set of 8 digis for £4.99 and the Chester Christmas collection of 4 digis for just £2.50.  As they are 99p for each digi, you can work out the math!  She's also got other bundle deals at bargain prices and you can check them all out here.
