Life is un-BEAR-able without you

Have you joined in with the current There She Goes challenge this week?  The challenge is to case a Trendsetter from the projects they made for the new release last week!  Well I was blown away with the talent of my teamies and I ended up casing two of them - Torico's card here for the layout and Wendy's card here where she used the stamps for the background...

I used the new PANDAmonium set too - it is sooo sweet!  I used kraft cardstock to stamp the bamboo heart on and Pink Petticoat papers with that pretty flower pattern.

Okay, I hope you like my take on their cards!  You can check out more fab casing over at the blog here!

Is it hot enough yet for a BBQ?!

Well, it's certainly warmer this weekend but it is overcast and now it's drizzling - where is the sunshine the weatherman promised me?!!  I hope the weather is better wherever you are!  Anyhoo, I'm here today with a card I made with my Stamping Bella stamp by Mo Manning called Big Man Grilling...

We were hoping to have a BBQ today but I think we'll scrap that idea and hopefully it will be possible for our Ban Holiday Monday (yay, long weekend!).  I matched him up with Pink Paislee Happy Now papers and used a variety of stickers from my stash (yep, still trying to use these up!).

Okay, I gotta go and do something useful now.  Not sure what that is yet - it was going to be gardening but now it's probably going to be ironing.  Bleh!

Thanks for visiting and I'll see you later on my blogrounds!

Day 3 of the There She Goes April release!

It's day three of this month's Blog Hop Challenges, which means we are one day closer to the big release!!  Today we are showcasing our newest sock goblin from Wendy Leach…meet Larry!

What a great set!  Here's my Trendsetter make using it...

Isn't he cool?!  I made a new job card but I think it could be used for a variety of occasions.  I matched him up with Pink Paislee Happy Now papers and used My Favorite Things fishtail banner dies along with a couple of stars to add a little interest.  I'm entering my card into the Simon Says anything goes challenge.

Would you like to win the new Larry stamp set? The more you hop and comment by visiting the Trendsetter's blogs below, the better your chances!  Check out all the deets here!  The Blog Hop Challenge will be open until 5pm EST on Saturday 27 April and the winner will be announced during the release party chat.

Okay, I'm off now but thanks for visiting and I'll be back tomorrow with the final day of the April peeks!

Get on your broomstick!

Hi everyone and I hope you are all having a fab weekend!  Today I have another Halloween make to share with you using those gorgeous Quixotic Paperie goodies!

I just love love love Make It Crafty goodies!  I used their Make It Crafty Witchy Wanda matched up with Pink Paislee Hocus Pocus papers and Bazzill Basics kraft cardstock.

For the embellishing I used Make It Crafty Fancy Ribbon Sliders with 8mm flat backed pearls in the centres and the corner laser cut chipboard is from the Make It Crafty Love Heart Swirls set topped with a 4mm flat backed pearl.  I first inked up the chipboard die cuts with antique gold metallic ink and then "tarnished" them with Rangers Jet Black Archival ink pad.  Here's a close up to show you the tarnishing that I'm pretty proud of!

You can see more of the new releases of these gorgeous goodies here...

Make It Monday sponsored by Mad For Markers!

Welcome to a new week of Make It Monday where we just want you to share your creativity - we love it when you inspire us!  You may remember that last week I showcased a steampunk card by Iulia of My Adored Adorables - where here is my FIRST EVER steampunk card!

Mine's a lot more cutesy than Iulia's!  But I'm pleased with the way it came out but it took me aaaaaaages to make, lol!!  I used Sir Studio Punk by Pixie Dust Studios and the Steampunk Flying Machine by Make It Crafty.  I didn't have much metal stuff or cogs and wheels - must invest in some of these cos I am lovin' this style!  The freedom to be messy is just liberating!  Thanks again Iulia!

This week we are being sponsored by Mad For Markers who are giving away a really fabby prize!

And their prize - Copicendium Magazine...

Copicendium - volume 1 - Click Image to Close

A mini magazine/ ideas book... chocked full of inspiration.  This volume of Copicendium is an A5 booklet with 20 pages showcasing projects created using Copic markers.. particularly focusing on colouring digi images with Copics!

Wanna a chance to win it?  Well, the more commenting you do on other entrants' posts, the more chance you have - get commenting!!  Or of course you can just enter the MIM linky party for a chance to get showcased next week - sweet!

For my pick this week, I chose this sweet card by Liv of Liverts liv i sus og dus...

Spookily awesome and a secret!!

Here is another Halloween card - I just love, love, love making these as they are so fun to do!  Perhaps I will actually celebrate it this year!!

This is Cherry Kisses Witch - not at all scarey!  Come to think of it, NONE of my Halloween cards are scarey!  ROFL!!  I love that sentiment too, don't you?  It is FREE!  You can get it from one of Pollycrafts' Tuesday Treats (go on, treat yourself here!).  I didn't realise that the sentiment wasn't straight until after I took the photo!  It's handmade right, it's these quirky mistakes that make the original, right?!!  LOL!!  Hey ho, I can't be perfect all the time!

On other news, we have something very special next Tuesday over at Ladybug Crafts Ink!  But we're keeping it under wraps at the moment and I'm not telling - you will have to come and find out for yourself!

Stamps: Pollycrafts Cherry Kisses Witch
