Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs new release hop!

(Please scroll down for my Make It Crafty DT post!)

It's time for a new Lil' Inker Designs release and we are going to showcase new stamp sets by Sugar Kissed Cottage designer Lindsey Amschler and dies over a three day blog hop!  And of course what's a blog hop without prizes?  Make sure you comment as you hop long - the more you comment, the better your chance of winning!  We'll be giving away prizes for two $10 store credits!  You'll definitely want to hop!

For my first project today, here is my card using the new Balloon Builders stamp set that works with the Balloon dies and also the new String die...

I used the stars from the white balloon on the blue balloon - no wastage here!  I also stamped the sentiment from the Balloon Builders set onto the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Sentiment Flag die and topped off the string die with a little flat backed gem.  I am going to enter this into the Simon Says Stamp challenge for "what are you famous for?" (CAS cards!)

And here is my second project using the very sweet Lots of Love...

I also used the sweet flower papers from the Echo Park Love Story pad against some Pink Petticoat gingham digi paper, softly distressed around the edges.

So back to the hop!  You should have come here from Lindsey and you now need to hop off to the store here to see all of the new goodies!

See you tomorrow with day 2 of our hop!

Make It Crafty shabby chic style

Hello, I'm today with something a little different.  Instead of getting out my Copics to colour in the yummy Make It Crafty super cool stamps, today I wanted to showcase some of the gorgeous chipboard in store.  So without further ado, here is my make...

I just luuuurve Make It Crafty chipboard - it is so delicate and detailed, just stunning!  I covered the chipboard first with Colorbox pigment ink in Frost White (I find it's one of the best opaque inks out there) and then lightly dabbed Tsukineko Brilliance ink in Pearlescent Beige to subtly age it.  I used papers by Michele R Designs called Peony Garden and softly distressed the edges.

MiC goodies I used:

I hope you like my shabby chic card!  See you later with my Kraftin' Kimmie guest designer card!
