You are outta this world!

Hi everyone, I hope your week is going well.  Mine is a bit quieter than the past few weeks so I managed to create a card last night - yay!  So here is a card I made for a little boy's birthday using some adorable Whimsie Doodles digis...

Ain't that little fella the cutest?!!  Whenever I look at him, I just wanna say "wheeee!".  He's from the Space Cadets set and the background is from the Background Borders Places set.  I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug folder and used some metallic cardstock to create the porthole.  And I even got to use up some of the hundreds of eyelets in my stash!

There is still plenty of time to join in this month's challenge of Kinda Spooky.  You don't have to use a WD image but we love it when you do!  I hope you can join us for a chance to win a digi of your choice or even get to be a Guest Artist if you do use a WD image!

Thank you for visiting and I will back on Friday with my La-La Land Crafts DT post and also a special announcement!

Sorry for you England footie fans out there!

I should start off by saying that I really don't like football - I hate the aggressive behaviour that often comes with it (and I've experienced it first hand!), but I do like the way it brings people together.  So I'm really sorry that England are already out of world cup and I know there are quite a few of you who are really disappointed.

I was hoping my Lili of the Valley DT card today would be rallying the troops, but instead it will have to be a commiserations card instead!  Here it is using Super Striker and papers from the Petal Fresh pad...

I love this guy!  I think he's perfect for any footie mad guy - I think my 50 year old bro will even love it!

Check out more fab inspiration over at the Ideas to Inspire blog here.  I'll be back tomorrow with my Doodlelicious Diva make - see you then!

Day four of the SugarPea Designs April release sweet sneaks!

It's the last day of the SugarPea Designs April release - not long now until they are in the shop!  Today we are showing you sneak peeks of the super sweet Totes Ma Goat set from the Beanstalk collection.  Here is my DT make...

This is such a great collection with a fab selection of matching sentiments too!  I matched this little fella up with Lili of the Valley papers and created the hills with My Favorite Things landscape dies.  The flowers are punched from a really really old EK Success punch.

Wanna win this sweet set?   Join our hop and leave some blog love each day.  One lucky hopper will win this stamp set and one lucky winner will win the entire April release!  Winners will be announced during the online release party chat on the  SugarPea Designs Facebook page  page on today between 8:00 - 9:00pm EST.  The release will launch in the SugarPea Designs online shoppe immediately following the release party.

Hope to see you at the release party - can't promise to be there as it'll be 1am here in the UK and should be asleep!  I will definitely be back tomorrow with another post - a very exciting one!

Oink oink!

Goodmorning everyone!  I hope your week has gone well and you're looking forward to a lovely weekend.  We have a cloudy, grey weekend predicted here in the UK so it looks like I'll have to stay in and craft instead - woo hoo!  But actually, I wish our Spring would actually act like Spring - I'm so ready for some sun and warmth!

Anyhoo, I made this card for a male friend of mine and with Spring in mind so it's not too girly but hopefully fresh enough...

It's really hard to make a card for a guy with pink in it!  I'm not sure this really worked but for some reason I really like it too!  This is Ollie Oink (what a great name!) and, as you can see, I kept it simple with some Doodlebug papers and a splash of black.

I'm off now but the Doodlelicious Divas will be back to showcase the new release in store tomorrow - see you then!

Happy birthday to us!

You may have already heard that it's Lili of the Valley's 10th birthday in May so this month's new LOTV challenge had to have a happy birthday theme!  Here is my card using Party Pup with Christmas Card and papers from the Candles and Cake collection...

I know this is a Christmas stamp but I think it's perfect for birthdays too!  I coloured him in with Prismacolor pencils and used my Nestabilities to make the round card and die cut stars.

Check more celebratory inspiration over at the Ideas to Inspire blog and I you can join us this month!

Sent with teddy bear love x

I don't know about you, but I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's weather - it's meant to be wet, windy and wild here in the UK - again!!!  It's a nightmare walking the dogs - the ground is so muddy and it's hard to keep them from jumping in the huge puddles.  But they do seem to love it!!!

Anyhoo, I'm here with my Lili of the Valley DT post using one of the new sweet stamps called James Laptop...

I love James the Bear!  I think this one would be fab for a boy or teenager - I know my young nephews spend more time in front of their laptops than the telly!  And I think the sweet informal font from the Scroll Sentiments is perfect with it too.

Okay, I'm off now, my hot bed blanket is calling me!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you on my blog rounds tomorrow - ttfn!

Hey there little guy

I'm back again today with my Bellarific Friday DT post and this week we had a sketch to follow.  Here's my take on it...

I used the very sweet Arthur from the set of 2 Arthur and Annie.  I used a Paper Smooches sentiment and my Sizzix checked embossing folder.

Check out the rest of the DT's inspiration using this sketch over at the blog here.  Next week's Bellarific Friday theme is fall colours so don't forget to get your makes to Em by next Thursday!

Sail away with me

I'm here today with my Lili of the Valley DT post with a birthday card for a little boy using Sailing Boat...

I put away my Copics and did watercolouring this time - I love using my Derwents but it's such a hassle to use compared to my markers!  Still, I love how he turned out with the softer feel.

I gotta go now - another busy busy work day!  Thanks for visiting and see you soon - ttfn!

My favorite birthday robot!

This week we are celebrating the There She Goes 5th birthday!  Today I have a card using one of my all time favourites Birthdaybot...

What a cutie!  I used My Minds Eye papers and cut the cupcake from a really old Quickutz die I found.  I knew it would come in handy one day!

I'm off now but while you're there check out the Cupcake Topper Challenge, and the Bingo page!

Sunny smiles just for you

There's a new challenge over at Pollycrafts and this fortnight the theme is "For the Kids".  Here is my DT make for it...

I just had to use another one of the sweet sweet Lil Dumpings!  This cutie is called Nipper for the obvious reasons!  The sentiment is from the CC Designs' AmyR Sweet Summer sentiments set.  Not sure who the papers are by but I did use My Favorite Things cloud and sun dies and my Darice embossing folder.

And check out the newbies in store too!  You will love these...

Check out more DT inspiration over at the blog here.  Thanks for visiting and I'll see you soon!
