Presents for you

A very quick post as I've got to get off to bed for a very early start! Here is my attempt at a distress/vintage card. I prefer clean lines so it's not very shabby chic! Hey ho, it doesn't look too bad and I will have to build on my base skills in this area, lol!!!

I am submitting this into the following challenges...

Bunny Zoe's challenge - vintage
Just Magnolia - sketch (above)
Sweet Stampin - distressed birthday
Magnolia Down Under - 3 patterned papers, 2 buttons, 1 ribbon
Simon Says Stamp and Show - show your layers

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, BasicGrey Porcelain paper pack
Stamps: Magnolia with presents, CC Designs sentiments
Mediums: Distress Ink in Antique Linen, cream paint (on chipboard)
Accents: chipboard and ribbon from stash, BasicGrey buttons
Tools: Tom Holtz distressing tool, Nestabilities label die, Martha Stewart border punch (inside)

This is lovely Mary, just shabby enough to take the edge off the sweetness (crikey that doesn't sound like a compliment but it's meant to be lol)I love what you have done with the inside of your card - I've usually lost the will by the time I've finished the front but yours is beautiful x

Mary, this so so pretty. I love how you distressed this card. I also have a very hard time "making" myself distess the edges of my paper. This is one of my favorite Tildas and you've colored her beautifully. And then there's your beautiful finish work on the inside of your card. I love it!
