Birds
I drew the birds for a project I am working on, you'll see it sometime in the future hopefully. I thought it would be interesting to keep the birds black and white and use some of my phots for the backgrounds.

Pen Doodle which I didn't like so I altered it in Photoshop
The pens were a gift and I was trying them out, but I didn't know what to draw.

I used neural filters

The last page in the handmade sketchbook and a couple of pages in a small 4" square book. I'll not say new book because it was used for the Inktober challenge.

Patterns Doodle

Another one from a sketch book. I quite often do a doodle or sketch with just a black pen, then colour it in at a later date usually when I can't think of what to draw.

ooodles of doooodles

I'm sometimes a bit nervous about starting the first page in a new sketch book, but I think I definitely had the word doodle in my mind when I did this one.

Hat Designs

Hats again today. Would you wear one or are they too weird?
For more of my strange hats see my picture for 'parade' on Illustration Friday.

Hat

Another hat doodle. Looks a bit like an elongated police hat with a pattern on it.

Psychedelic 60's

One from my doodle book. I prefer this one with a bit of colour. I don't always colour sketches in, and when I do , it's usually at a later date, quite often when I can't think of something to draw, or while watching TV. So my doodle books are colouring books too. I used to enjoy colouring in as a child , but did you know that you can buy colouring books for adults? I saw some in a shop the other day.

A page from one of my sketchbooks - all bows of various shapes, sizes and colours.
