This is a new thing, never seen it before, and I love it. 1937 headlights on a fenderless hot rod

Great choice of radiator overflow catch can, perfect color match... I don't think I've seen better

What do you think? Ever seen 37 headlights on a fenderless? Like it?

a 36 and a 37 Ford comparison, lots of radical changes in one model year

These are of Murphy's '37.
Murphy bought a 36 while he was a radioman in the US Navy, before WW2... but the payments were $18 a month, and his pay was $21. He couldn't make the payments for very long. He told me that after it went back to the dealership, he had 5 years at sea to think over the whole thing. He was promoted a couple of times, and after surviving the attack on Pearl Harbor, President Roosevelt got all the military a raise.
above... the 37 with the rear hinged hood, headlights sculpted into the fenders. Below, the 36

I hope you enjoyed the comparison.
