CAS Birthday Card

Hey, everyone!

Today I will share you with the fourth and final card we made in our card class this month. I think it turned out so pretty and it's my favorite! I wasn't sure what design to go with for the last card but since the other cards were a little more detailed I decided to go with a CAS (clean and simple) card and I'm so glad I did! Take a look:

The base is Premium White Cardstock, layered with black cardstock, then another piece of the white. The sentiment is from Trendy Greetings and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The scalloped squares are Marvy Clever Lever punches and I added doodle dots with my Black Tombow marker and my white gel pen. The stamp is a purchase with purchase stamp which was embossed with black embossing powder after being stamped with Versamark. We used an embossing buddy to keep the stray powder away. We heat set it with the embossing heat tool and I absolutely love it! The final shimmer was added when we traced the sentiment with the Stardust Clear Gel Pen. That pen is fantastic... a definite must-have!

Thanks for hanging out with me today! I hope you were inspired to stamp today! Have a great one!

I liked the others but by far this is my favorite - absolutely elegant and love all the "extras" with the gel pen and white/black pens,. TFS

I love the classic look of black and white. And the Happy birthday shimmers so nicely!

I really like this! Sometimes I forget how much I enjoy embossing and how elegant it can make things look! Great card!
