Stamp Out Cancer!

Hey, everyone!

A lot of you know that I have been a Chemo Card Angel for over six years now and it is one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. I also enjoy sending cards to the the children featured on Make A Child Smile (including the previously featured kids). These precious children face life-threatening illnesses and by simply making (or buying) a card and writing a heartfelt note of encouragement, I am able to bring a smile to the face of a child. That is worth it all! These programs are wonderful and I will continue to do them for as long as I can, but I wanted to do something on the local level, too. So, this year, I put together a team for the Lawrence County American Cancer Society Relay For Life. I hope you will join me if you are not already on a team! The more the merrier!!

I am having a fundraiser for my team to be held May 17 about a month before the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, which will be held on June 20 & 21 this year.
