More Swaps Sent!

Hey, everyone!

I have been busy....with swapping! LOL It's so funny because I had thought all the swaps I signed up for sounded great and that they wouldn't take long to do, but gosh when you add them all up, it makes for a whole lot of work! LOL

I am working on one big swap now, just trying to finish it up to get it out in the mail Friday and then I will have 2 swaps due in November and 1 swap due in December, then I am done! LOL

Here are a few of the things I have been working on lately:
The Changing Seasons card is actually not a "swap" but I sent it as a "TAG" to another Angel in a group we are in. I hope she will like it!
This Changing Seasons card is for a fall or Halloween themed card swap. I obviously went with the fall theme, but it is my favorite season!!! The sentiment and pumpkin are both stamps from The Angel Company but are retired.
This Elmo card was a lot of fun to put together! The IMAGINE sentiment is from the retired TAC set: Dance With Your Spirit. Inside I added the sentiment IMAGINE, INSPIRE, DREAM for a friend of mine who is also an Angel. She has young children, too, so I am sure she will appreciate the card! After all, aren't we supposed to imagine, inspire and dream with our kids and for ourselves? LOL (By the way, this card doesn't have a red border, I just used that piece of cardstock so the white card would show up better!)
This is a thank you card going to my Hostess this month along with her TAC order. She and two other friends of mine are in my first-ever Hostess 3 for 3 Club! It has been so neat to see 3 ladies from 3 different areas join in the club! I also have some birthday cards to get sent out for the Birthday Club! If you haven't signed up yet just send me an e-mail and let me know when your birthday is and that you want in! After December 31, 2008 the Birthday Club will be revised but it will still be a lot of fun!
Well, I hope you have enjoyed looking at my cards! Hopefully all the recipients will have received them by now. If not, just act surprised when you open your mailbox! LOL Have a great day, everyone!

Hugs,

NEW PROJECTS!

Hey, everyone!

My friend, Hannah, and I made some projects tonight for our upcoming fundraiser: STAMP OUT CANCER! It was so fun trying new techniques that neither of us had done before. We had so much fun and laughed a lot!! I love crafting with her! So, I thought I would just share some of our projects with you all!

Hannah made this acrylic post-it note holder! She did a fabulous job of adding the black flourishes onto the yellow and white dp. The flourish is one of our GWP stamps! Remember you get TWO free with every $30 purchase until the end of April. The Thank You GWP stamp goes great with this GWP stamp!!

Let's support our troops! It doesn't matter whether you like the war or not. It doesn't matter if we want our troops there or not. They are there! They sacrifice their life every single day for our freedom. Their families are left behind to pray and wait for them. Show your support and wear RED this Friday! Thank a soldier. Thank a veteran! THANK GOD FOR OUR TROOPS!

This is just a really fun card! I had printed off the tutorial on the paper bow that I had wanted to try. I grabbed some dp and foam tape and gave it a try! I'm happy with the way it turned out. Hannah stamped and assembled this card. She even punched the hearts out. We had so much fun working on these! BELIEVE is a sentiment from MY JOURNEY stamp set.

This turned out better than I thought it would. I added the WISHES sentiment after punching the stars and placing on the card...for a WISH UPON A STAR theme. Then I noticed there are three stars, THREE WISHES...so the sentiment fits either way! The WISHES came from MY JOURNEY stamp set.

This is OUR first attempt at making a CRISS CROSS card! (Beate Johns copyright 2007 All Rights Reserved). We had a little bit of trouble, laughed A LOT, but finally managed to get it right! I love the Scor-Pal! Hannah is a Scor-Pal PRO!!! Of course the sentiment is perfect for our friendship, so I had to use it. It's from the A GOD THING set.

Hannah and I agree...this is our fave! I saw another card similar to this found here and thought I would like to try that color combo! I'm so glad I did. It turned out really well. I love it!! Can you tell I love my new scallop punch? And these two FREE Gift With Purchase stamps are GREAT!!! Don't you think they make a nice compliment to each other? This card was simple to put together, but made the biggest impression on us!

I hope you've enjoyed viewing our projects. Thanks for stopping by! Check back again soon because I will be posting more photos in the next few days!! Don't forget...we still have time to Celebrate! Just book your party or place your order anytime between now and the end of this month to get DOUBLE BENEFITS/REWARDS!!!

Hugs,
Bridgett
