Georgia Peach Cobbler

Hey, everyone!

I made my dad a cute little box with some candy and a card for Father's Day since we all pitched in and got my dad a nice gift for Father's Day. I also made a peach cobbler and was in such a hurry to get down to my mom and dad's that I completely forgot about taking photos to share with you today! Ugh!

So, instead I am sharing the recipe with you! My dad said it tasted like Granny Marsh used to make and to me that is the ultimate compliment! YAY!!! It was very good!

GEORGIA PEACH COBBLER
1 large can of peaches
1 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 egg
3 tablespoons of butter
Pour the peaches into the bottom of a baking dish. In a mixing bowl combine the sugar and flour, add the egg and stir with a spoon until crumbly. Spoon this topping over the peaches. Add the butter and bake in a 350* F. oven until the crust is brown.

I hope you will try this! It's delicious!

Hugs,

Sounds scrumptious! The only thing that would make this better is fresh Georgia peaches and ice cream on the top! We love the peaches when the juice runs down your arm as you're eating it! Yummmmmm!
