Shopping Our Stash #259 ~~ Say What??!

Another week has flown by, Canada celebrating Canada Day on Friday and the U.S. celebrating Independence Day on Monday, lots of fireworks and fun so now it's time for a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash ~~ Say What??! we want to see a speech bubble on your project. After the last few challenges this one seems easy peasy, the hardest part is finding the perfect sentiment to fit in the speech bubble die (if you have any). Here is what I came up with for the challenge.

The image is from Art Impressions ~~ the oldies, the sentiment is also AI and from Just Say It.

Love this sentiment, I used a speech bubble die (retired) from Stampin'up

The simple sentiment on the inside is from Penny Black and it's one of my favs.

I would like to enter this in:

Naughty or Nice Challenge #29 Anything goes

Just Us Girls #350 Word Week ~~ Summer

Thanks for stopping by and no matter where you are from I hope you had a fabulous weekend.

New week New challenge at SoSS ~~~ I is for Image only

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is back again with a new challenge ~~ I is for Image only!!! Easy Peasy I make them a lot, sometimes because there is no room for a sentiment on the front sometimes 'cause I haven't decided what it will be, Birthday, get well or just a Hello there card.  I use my new stamp set I bought last month at The Butterfly Moon, it is from Art Impressions, I have a few of their funny stamps and use them quite a bit.

You can almost hear the "snark"

I used a lot of leftovers on this card, the frame was not suitable for another project and the ovals were left over too just sitting on my craft table.

I fussy cut both images and this one I mounted on a wobble so when you open the card it moves. I mounted it on the second of the shimmer ovals.

Inside of the card

and the bit of snark, 'cause that's how we roll at SoSS

Thanks for checking out my blog today and check out what the rest of the design team had done for the I is for Image challenge.

It`s time for Karaoke!!!

New challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday it`s Karaoke, so make a project that shows us a song. Make sure you let us know what it is on your blog just in case we are too young or too old to remember it. The sponsor this week is a favourite of mine, a Canadian company that gives us freebies every Friday…..Bugaboo Digi Stamps. i chose my image because we have had a lot of snow and it`s been so cold, as soon as I saw the image the song ``Baby it`s Cold Outside`` came to mind. The stash item is BRADS I`m sure you have lots and lots of them in your stash. I think mine will last me longer than I will need them,
Clear it Out song.
One of my favourite Bugaboo images is Stella, A lot of snowflakes on the card, The white brads are at least 4 years old or older, I coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and Copics for the face. Liquid pearls is on the hat, coat and muff. Baby it`s Cold Outside is a stamp from  Impression Obsession Inc.

Close up of the sentiment. Finally the finished inside of the card.

New Challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday..check it out!!!

If you didn’t arrive here from the Clear it Out challenge blog head over and check out the information on the new challenge.
October 1st wow where did September go? Thanksgiving in Canada  is October 14th this year a little earlier than in the U.S.thanksgiving, I’m not sure when it is in other countries,
The challenge at Clear it Out  is Thanksgiving and the stash item is……………a sentiment left over from another project. I didn’t have a problem with that one I had 4 different ones on my desk when I read the stash item.  I had the word Celebrate that was  a couple of inches long and had a V cut in each end so I cut off the tails to make it fit my card and just nipped the corners. Sponsors for this challenge are Bugaboo, Lacy Sunshine and The Stamping Chef.

The image I chose was from Bugaboo, Stella Calendar months, Thanksgiving. check out the sentiment on the inside.

I had a lot of ideas running through my mind and had a couple of images to use, then I remembered a digi image from Bugaboo, it is perfect as you will see.

Supplies:
Image from Bugaboo digi Stamps (a Canadian company)
Cardstock…GP white, Cherry Cobbler
Paper from a Hero Arts Kissing pad
Accessories….Flowers and Rhinestones.
I coloured with prisma colour pencils and oms, distressed the edges and added the flowers. I am not one to do a lot of distressing but thought I would give it a go and it's not too bad. Now it’s your turn to get your craft on and see what you can come up with for “Bartender”. and add your project to the Drunken Stamper’s Challenge Blog, the challenge closes at midnight next Friday.
Cheers
