Whatever The Weather.....
I have had this Olaf die for hmm 2 years, it was still in it's packaging, I had to clip all those tiny dies apart and hope for the best, I cut 2 of Olof, 2 each of the twig arms so they were stable and I glued them inside the two diecuts as I wanted to put Olaf on a Wobble. Being in a hurry I could only find a large wobble so he really dances around. I smooshed the watercolour background and stenciled the snow with texture paste. Let it Snow is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
Close up of Olaf and the stenciled snow.
Finished the inside with a scrap of blue and a sentiment from High Hopes Stamps (a Canadian store)
this stamp is at least years old.
I am adding this to:
NBUS ~~ Challenge #57
Cut it Up ~~ # use mor than one die I used 2

It's Pajama Day!!!
Hello friends it's time for a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash and it's Pajama Day, we want to see a project inspired by your Pajamas. It was a tall order for me, I have one pair of very ancient (well it is shopping our stash) pajamas, being from Canada I only wear them on a "snow" day that we have been advised to stay home. So here is a picture of my very well loved 'jammies.
These were my inspiration, it was a long process as I have skating mice, skating bunnies, skating penguins but do I have a skating bear? Nope so found a free digital image to use and this is my card.
Talk about shopping my stash, I don't usually emboss a lot but since my white ink wasn't "inky" enough I had to go etehe versamark watermark route using 2002 snowman/snowflake 6 piece set from Hero Arts, and my embossing powder was from PSX. The bear was coloured and fussy cut and popped up.
Closer look at the happy skater.
Finally the inside which I decided to heat emboss the sentiment which is years old and from High Hopes Stamps and since there is no packaging I'm thinking somewhere between 10 and 15 years old..
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will use your pajamas as inspiration and enter the challenge, be sure to include a picture of your pajamas. Don't forget to head over to the Main Blog and check out the jammie cards the rest of the design team have made.

Stars or Stripes or Both?
It's Stars and/or Stripes Forever at the Jingle Belles Rock Challenge, and no it's not the last day of the challenge I'm a whole week early!!! I'm sure Lauren and Stephanie are going to be "shocked" It is such a fun challenge.
The stamp set I used is a very long retired Stampin'up set called (I think) Snow Much Fun. It has a tall snowman and a short chubby one.One of my favourite sets too. I used one of my oxide backgrounds that I had made for another challenge but it was over before I got a chance to play along. I believe the star paper is from a Bo Bunny pack but I could be mistaken since I'm home and the things I used for this card are at the cottage. (will correct if I need to) Let it Snow is from Tim Holtz die set.
One of my favourite "snow" sentiments and it's from an Ontario stamp store, High Hopes Stamps. and a scrap of patterned paper.
I am entering this in:
Jingle Belles Rock ~~ Stars and/or stripes forever
and
Christmas Kickstart Challenge ~~ #33 Hatty Christmas

Q is for Quarters
The ABC Christmas Challenge has some really good themes this month, P is for Penguins (not done yet) Q is for Quarters and R is for Reindeer (still on the drawing table. So since I remembered to take my four Sunshine Design snowmen to the cottage this past weekend I managed to get a card done, I have had the set of 4 snowmen for many years. One road trip I was on with my fellow crafters to Ottawa we went to Stamp Barn and had a tour (they have since been sold) and I bought this really cute set, I have used them as single and as a set for many Christmases. The Frogs Whiskers sells Sunshine Designs and many of the Stamp Barn stamps and they are Canadian.
The 4 snowmen/women were stamped and coloured then die cut with a stitched square set, mounted on a square of blue then elevated with foam core and added to a background of embossed snow.
On the inside I added one of my favourite "snow" related sentiments from High Hopes Stamps which is also a Canadian Company.
I'm entering this in:
ABC Christmas Challenge ~~ Q is for Quarters.
Thanks for stopping by today and the challenge ends on August 31.

Shopping Our Stash #365 ~~ Shake, Shake, Shake that Shaker card!!!
Chana's back!! and has a fun challenge this week, make a shaker card!!! Lots of creative ways to make a shaker card, I took the easy route and made mine with a shaker cup (think that is what it is called) So get those thinking caps on and join in the fun at Shopping Our Stash. Here is my "winter" shaker card. I never tire of making Winter/Christmas cards.
I used a very "old" retired Stampin'up set, I love this image for shaker cards it fits so well, I usually use it in a window frame shaker, but thought I would "shake" it up. This is a 5 1/4 inch square card. The Merry Christmas is a sticker,
Inside the dome I put white and blue beads and some Martha Stuart Glitter snow (have no idea how old it is) I coloured the image with Spica glitter pens and a copic marker. I double cut the scalloped circle as the first one didn't fit right and I want to appear I'm perfect. lol.
Finished the inside to co-ordinate with the front and the sentiment is very ancient and is from High Hope Stamps.
Thanks for visiting my blog today and head over to the Main Blog to check out what the rest of the design team have made.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2017 ~~ day 26 ~~ Bonus day!!
Surprise it's a bonus tag, High Hopes Stamps is sponsoring the bonus tag day at the 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2017. I am so happy I managed to get caught up and this is my last tag for the challenge hop. As most of my readers know I love purple and I just had to use Kristine's purple tag as inspiration. Here is what I made.
I didn't have the adorable penguin from High Hopes Stamps so I used the cute one from Bugaboo Stamps, as you see I do love all shades of purple.
I fussy cut the penguin out and popped him up. I cut a few hills and a tree.
Here is Kristine's tag
This was the sentiment I thought I could use but it was too large for the tag. It is from High Hopes Stamps and I've had it for quite a few years. It's just so Canadian.
Last entry for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2017
Thanks again for spending time looking at all the super tags I made and I hope you made some too.

It's a "trifecta" Jingle Belles, Merry Monday and Rudolph Days!!!
Knowing Rudolph days was on and Merry Monday Christmas challenge popped into my mailbox the same day just worked right in to making another card for the Jingle Belles Christmas tic tac toe!!!
Wow it's not a House Mouse!!! but it's a super cute penguin stamp from Penny Black. I've used ever year for who knows how long, For the Jingle Belles Rock tic tac toe I used the Diagonal line Red, cardstock and bling but it also plays into the center vertical line blue, cardstock and snow. again would have been more if I could have figured out how to put a flower on it lol. Merry Monday Christmas challenge was Penguins, second of the trifecta, well Rudolph days is from the 25th of the month until the last day and it happens each month of the year...bonus!!!
And here is the "BLING"
A favourite "snow" sentiment from High Hopes Stamps
Here is the trifecta I'm entering:
Jingle Belles rock ~~ Tic tac toe
Merry Monday Christmas challenge #258 ~~ Penguins

So Many Ways to Play Christmas Tic-Tac-Toe at the Jingle Belles Rock!!!
This time I went with the middle vertical line Snow/Cardstock/Blue. I used one of my favourite stamp companies ~~ House Mouse Designs but this time I used a "gruffie"
Since I was crafting at the cottage I had limited cardstock, I had lots of white but not too many "holiday" colours, but had that scrap of Pacific Point cardstock The background was embossed with "softly falling" from Stampin;up Let it Snow is a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the ovals are Spellbinders classic ovals, large. The fur on his hat and the snow is liquid pearls and stickles.
The inside was finished with a sentiment from High Hopes Rubber Stamps which is perfect for "snowy cards"

My Last Pink Christmas Card for the Jingle Belles Rock ~~ for this year.
I have been so excited to have had time to create 6 cards for the (GAH) Pink Christmas Challenge at the Jingle Belles. It's been a lot of fun picking images that will look great in pink. For this card I used a Saturated Canary image I have had printed probably since last year, quite often I print two just in case I mess the first one up. I also have a stash different coloured Fitted Frames 4 from Elizabeth Craft Designs,
I used ECDesigns stitched oval and two of the fitted frames ovals then placed it on a white layer that was embossed with a folder from Stampin'up that the name of eludes me. then I attached it to a premade base 4 1/4 X 6 inches from a pack I purchased at the dollar store. The sentiment is from High Hopes Stamps which is a Canadian company here in Ontario.
A truly Canadian sentiment isn't it, although I'm not the one in my family that uses that word, my hubby is truly a Canadian and admits to using Eh? many times in a conversation.
The inside is finished with another of the fitted ovals and a sentiment from Stampendous (I think)
I am entering this in:
Jingle Belles rock ~~ (GAH) Pink Christmas
Thanks for stopping by and if you hurry you can get your Pink Christmas card to the Jingle Belles before the challenge closes. Stephanie and Lauren each are donating $2.00 for Breast Cancer Research so the more cards the merrier.

The stamp I used the snowman stamp from Holiday Line-up, a retired stampin’up set. The sentiment is from the $1 bin (now that was a long time ago) at Michaels, I loved the script. I used Real Red cardstock, GP white and the patterned paper is also retired from SU,
I love this sentiment for the snowmen cards, it is from High Hopes Rubber Stamps which has new owner since I got this stamp. The company is in London, Ontario, Canada, and I didn’t even know it myself. The have great stamps, My Merry Christmas, EH! is also from the company.
