Since I lost a week somewhere along the month and since I didn't get a card made for Shopping Our Stash Back to the Books challenge I decided to finish what I started and make it a reminder post. The Challenge is Back to Books which means anything school, books or use a book page. I picked a favourite stamp store, House Mouse Designs, I didn't make a card I altered my date book which is something I usually do when I first buy my purse size date book but when I saw the challenge I knew I wanted to get 'er done.

Back to Books Reminder!!
Although the stamp is fairly new the Bo Bunny paper pad is ancient, I also used the original spellbinders oval dies and the date book is almost 1 year old but is still good for 2023, I have tried really hard to use my phone for appointments and reminders but I never hear them or pay attention so I'm old school with a planner.
Close up of the book loving mousie.
Closer look at the stitched Alph die cuts.
I am adding this to:
House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge ~~ ATG option Shaped card.
Thanks for stopping by today and you still have until Monday August 29th to add your project to Shopping Our Stash.

Happy Easter!!
Now that I have delivered the Easter treats I can show you the bags I made for the Great Grands. I upcycled a couple of bags I got from the Vet when I picked up food, they are really nice and heavy although didn't like glue as well as they did tape.
Since I was making bunny ATCs for A Tiny Craft Challenge I cut a few well maybe more than a few extra eggs but not many extra bunnies. I stamped a little more than half the basket and one handle (it makes a full basket) with co-ordinating Simon says Stamp ink and fussy cut them out. The basket stamp is from Limited Edition (long island) I taped it over the logo on the bag.
I also had to make a card for Cal. and used a House Mouse Easter stamp.
I cut the largest egg in purple and the second largest (which would have been perfect for an ATC) in the polka dot cardstock. Coloured Maxwell, fussy cut and popped him on a wobble, I took another chance die cutting HAPPY and gluing it right side up this time. (I read the whole word before placing it) I also cut a mini card easel for it. The Egg dies are a NBUS, I'm not sure how long I've had them at least 1 year or longer.
Closer look at how Maxwell sits on the wobble.
The bags were filled with their favourite candy, Reeces Peanut butter anything.
Since I used a NBUS set of Egg Dies I'm entering this in:
NBUS ~~ #37
Thanks for stopping by and I had a lot of fun upcycling those bags.

Challenge #333 ~~ Tag You're It!!!
At Shopping Our Stash challenge #333 is Tag You're It ~~ make a tag either by itself or on a card. That's a much simpler idea than I had which was to alter a bag and make a matching tag. I'm happy with the end results. The tag I made will certainly look great on a card if I need to get one made in a hurry, that's what great about having tags laying around.
Here is the matching tag and bag. I used a set of patterned poinsettia petals, three sizes in red foil posterboard and the larges petal in green foil posterboard (bought at the dollar tree) the flower centers are from Lana in Saskatchewan.
Closer look at the bag. The Merry Christmas is from Gina Marie Designs, the intertwined circles are a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, three sizes and a snowflake in the package. the glitter red dots are from Starform (these are over a year old never opened)
Lastly the Tag, using the same die cuts as the bag with the exception of the Noel which is a Elizabeth Craft Designs die and it's probably over 2 years old. The tag is also a die I purchased from Lana and it is new but never been used before. I took the large and next size tag die and made a frame with the red posterboard layered that on a white shimmer paper tag.
There you have my Tag You're it project and although you do not have to alter a bag to enter the challenge just make a tag or a card with a tag on it and join us at Shopping Our Stash.
Closer look at the flowers and flower centers.
Lastly a close up of the beautiful Gina Marie designs Merry Christmas.
There you have my Tag You're it project and although you do not have to alter a bag to enter the challenge just make a tag or a card with a tag on it and join us at Shopping Our Stash.

Easter Bunny Basket
Happy Tuesday, Barbara here with a super cute Easter basket that is quick and easy. I followed a tutorial from Split Coast Stampers, the video was very easy to follow step by step. This basket is for my great grandson who will be 8 by Easter.
It is 1 1/2 inches deep 1 1/2 inches wide and about 5 inches long, just big enough for the golden bunny from Lindt and a few foil eggs.
I just had to use some more of those adorable chocolate bunny brands from Eyelet Outlet.
I used a bunny brad on each end to secure the handle, I die cut some grass and attached it around the whole basket and secured it with the most adorable bunny washi tape from the Eyelet outlet. I'm sure I could make a lot of baskets with the amount of washi tape on that roll.
Here is the picture of the handle of the basket, I used more bunny washi tape on it. I love that the polka dot pattern shows through.
this is one of the many designs in the store.
Check out the Eyelet Outlet and Brad store there are brads, eyelets, flowers, washi tape and much much more for any occasion you are creating something for. don't forget to look for the daily special.
Thanks for stopping by.

Shopping Our Stash #253 ~~ Square roots AKA Anything but a Card!!!
A new week a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash, Anything But A Card, now I don't make very many "projects" the odd candy holder but this challenge gave me an opportunity to make something I have wanted to try for a while, a business card holder. It's Victoria Day weekend here in Canada and we are enjoying the sunshine although inside the cottage is quite cool. So without a lot of embellishments on hand here is my offering for the challenge.
As you see I just grabbed the business cards from my purse as I don't have any printed yet, The one showing is from the spa I get my pedicure done.
Here is the second project I did for the challenge...............................
I am sure glad I brought the Botanical Builder framelits from Stampin'up with me this weekend or I would have had nothing to embellish my projects with, no ribbon, no rhinestones, no pearls and no stickles....I'm thinking I should be packing a bit better. The one rhinestone I used on the mug was on the table, not even sure where it came from but the tiny ones I had to buy at the $$ store. And so starts a summer of crafting at the lake,
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you can find some time to make a project for the challenge at Shopping Our Stash.

Anything but a Card at House Mouse & Friends Blog
Hello friends it’s another new challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge, and I’m early getting mine done. Since it is getting closer to Christmas I decided to join in the Anything but a Card challenge and make a gift card holder. Now I made one of these before and it’s a very simple design. I know I found it on someone’s blog and for some reason or other I can’t find the instruction paper with the name on it, You can be sure I will give credit when I find out.
Instructions:
Base 7 X 4 1/4 Score at 2 1/2 and 5 1/2
Patterned Paper:cut 2 pieces 2 1/4 X 4 and 1 piece 1 1/4 X 4
Fold on score lines, on the 2 1/2 section attach with a strong double sided tape to make a pocket..
Add the patterned paper to the front and inside as in the picture.
Belly Band: 9 1/2 X 1 1/8 Patterned paper 4 3/8 X 1
Wrap band around the card holder and attach together, add patterned paper to the front and decorate as desired.
Being crafters you shouldn’t have any trouble following the instructions it is a really quick and easy gift card holder.
I am entering this in the Anything but a Card challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge you will find HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today come back again soon.
This is the closed card, I used a DCWV Christmas pad and Riding hood Red cardstock. I used this cute little guy in an ornament it’s just perfect for this size project. It was layered on a leftover snowflake and then the scalloped punched cardstock.
Not a very good picture but this is the gift card holder open. Instructions:
Base 7 X 4 1/4 Score at 2 1/2 and 5 1/2
Patterned Paper:cut 2 pieces 2 1/4 X 4 and 1 piece 1 1/4 X 4
