Happy Birthday Sprinkles

Two of my team-mates on a design team posted cards for the Hop to Stop ~~ domestic violence.  I knew I wanted to participate so in the midst of packing up some of my crafty things to take home from the cottage I made a card. First sorting through some images I found a "UFO" as another teamie call it when she finds a "un-finished object". I often colour images and tuck them away and it's exciting when it is done in the right colours. If you want to join the Hop to Stop head over to the Damsel  of Distressed Cards, there you will find the rules to join and see what great prizes too.

The image I used is from House Mouse Designs the patterned paper is from the dollar store and the candy dots I made with mini pony beads.

The inside is partially finished as my sentiment is at home and I wanted to take the picture outside at the cottage in the sunshine instead of home under a lamp.

These are the sponsors for the Hop to Stop October 1st to October 14th. please join us.

I would like to enter this in

Thanks for stopping by today and have an awesome day!!!

I made an easel card using Tempting Turquoise as the base, the designer paper is from a DCW stack, the bling is from my huge stash. Dottie and the  cake were coloured with pencil crayons and odourless mineral spirits. I printed two images one to use as a base the other I cut Dottie and the icing out and popped them up.
I am giving away a oval shim to use with embossing folders in your pressure machine along with some bling and printed flowers as a prize. All you have to do is to leave your name in the comments to be eligible. World Cardmaking day Canadian Blog Hop

Welcome if you arrived from Chelle’s Blog you are now at the right place.
I certainly never thought I would blog let alone sign up for a blog hop, but it sounded like a lot of fun. What a time I had deciding which stamp I would use and the one I chose is from the Artful Stamper in London Ontario.,The African Queen was purchased at the Stamp Shack a long while ago and it has never seen ink until now.
                       IMG_1285
I embossed it in black on Whisper White  then coloured with tombow markers. The card stock is More Mustard and black the fibres are from my yarn stash. The Happy Birthday is embossed in gold. This might just be a perfect card for my Grandson’s Birthday in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for stopping by, your next stop on the Canadian Blog Hop is Janet’s blog, I hope you enjoy looking at all the great cards and pages done featuring Canadian products.
