Vesper-on Games and TrollTrader have recently reached and agreement in order to continue the publication of the Carnevale: the miniatures game and Home Raiders game ranges. From now on, TrollTrader will hold the rights of both IPs and will work to develop both properties. Home Raiders is a very dynamic game, and very easy to learn. It is great to set up an improvised game anywhere, and a great choice to open this amazing hobby to anyone who has never played with miniatures before. All the models from the core box are built in one single piece, so the only thing you have to do is stick them to their clear transparent bases and get ready to play!
We are slowly getting closer to the next big project here at Vesper-on Games. Home Raiders is almost ready to be sent out to backers (we are talking about days now!). And now we have to keep on moving, working on Carnevale and Home Raiders, but also preparing new and exciting games for the future.Link: Vesper-On Games
Our next project is Fanhunter Urban Warfare. This is our first licensed game, and we want to make it really big! It is based in the popular comics published in Spain by Cels Piñol, which means that we have a lot of background to draw from! If you are not familiar with this universe, do not worry, we will put you all up to date in the next few months.
Today we want to offer you a new campaign for you to take the chance to roam the streets of Venice with your squads during these summer days. Here you have the campaign that you can safely download for FREE. You can start playing today, and just like we did the last time with Starvation, we will collect the results of your game and they will impact in the future of the setting of Carnevale. And we are also giving out a price of 100€ worth of product to one of you who sends us pictures of your games.Link: Vesper-On Games
This is how we will handle both processes. You have to send us an email to info@vesper-on.com with one picture of your games (if you send more than one, we will choose which one to post according to our preference), indicating which faction won the campaign and where are you from. We will collect the results and by late September we will let everyone know which was the winning faction. On the other hand, in order to determine the winner of the price, we will publish the pictures that we receive in both of our Facebook pages, in the English and the Spanish ones. The picture that on the 15th of September has the highest number of accumulated Likes (adding up both Facebook pages) will receive the price. We will then get in touch with the winner and we will then send the price, valued in 100€ worth of product from the Vesper-on Games online store.

The campaign is ready. We will hand it over to you this week, and just like we did with the Starvation campaign, the result of your games will have an impact on the future of the Carnevale setting. Now, based on your feedback, we've worked around a couple of changes. Some of the backers asked for a more streamlined (simplified) Team building system, and that made a lot of sense for a game like Home Raiders. We've applied a simple formula to our existing points system (divide them by 1000 and then round the number) to boil those points down to 1, 2, 3 stars. To be honest, after testing this for a few days, I think that this works much better than the old points system, as it keeps the units as balanced as they were, but the Teams are built in a minute! We might just leave the points somewhere in the Unit card for those of you who want an extra level of detail when building their Teams, but the Star system seems like a great addition to the game.
