Dark Gate Games announced a relaunch of Vampire Hunters:

This update is just a teaser. Don’t worry, over the next few weeks we will give you more information. But here’s a sample of the changes we’ll have ready for the new Kickstarter Campaign:
- Completely revised gameplay. Mechanics have been streamlined and all statistics and special rules are written on cards and tokens. There is very little to remember during the game, making it easy to learn and fast & fun to play. You can focus on the game, not the rules.
- New play modes. The core rules are now for a 2-4 player competitive game. The players are the Vampire Hunters, fighting against the AI controlled Vampires. You compete against the other players to be the best Vampire Hunter. There are also complete rules for traditional co-op and solo play.
- A new campaign mode. The campaign consists of a series of scenarios, with time to upgrade the team’s skills, weapons and other equipment in between. Or you can take any one of the scenarios and simply play a standalone game.
- Improved 2D art. All the cards, tokens and map tiles have been completely revised. They look stunning!
- New 3D art. We have new sculpts for Vampires, Hunters and equipment.
- Beta rule book. We have a beta rule book to share with you at the start of the campaign.
- All written material will be edited by native English speakers. This includes the KS pages as well as the game material.
