Four Color Studios - Kickstarter Update

Four Color Studios announced some news for their Ghosts of Hefei Kickstarter and present the artwork for Detective Lo Bo Tek:
As is stands if we don't make any of the strech goals, we will be producing 10 figures. We've decided to cast up the Russian and Tong hackers along with the 6 Yakuza gang members. We are also producing custom figures for the two premium backers we have so far.
What we are going to do is allow backers to customize which figures they would like along with theri pledge. So you wont be limited to multiples of the Yakuza if your pledge includes several gangs.
So if you purchased two gang sets you can select 12 figures in whatever combination of figures that you want. You could select 1 Yakuza boss, 6 fabricants, 2 yakuza hackers and 3 of the special characters.
We'll see what everyone wants in terms of figures, and figure out our casting quantities from that.

Four Color Studios - Kickstarter Update

Four Color Studios presents the 15mm Yakuza Fabrican:

The Yakuza operating in Hefei eschew traditional human muscle and instead employ fabricants piloted remotely from Japan. Yakuza pilots are almost entirely teenagers enlisted temporarily to "play the game" as a fabricant pilot in Hefei.
Being a Yakuza pilot is one of the safest jobs in the Hefei underworld. They are safe in Japan for the most part (unless they cross their Yakuza bosses) and since they have not technically committed a crime in Japan, they are not a concern for the Japanese police. Old national rivalries ensure that the Japanese are reluctant to extradite their young people to face a Chinese court.
However, Yakuza fabricants are far from the perfect soldiers on the ground. Latency issues with their long-distance connection makes them slow and cumbersome at times and fabricants are not difficult to hack if they stray beyond the range of friendly hackers on the ground. To counter this weakness, Yakuza field hackers will jump into friendly fabricants and pilot them directly at critical moments during the battle.

Four Color Studio - Ghosts of Hefei Kickstarter Launch

The Ghosts of Hefei Kickstarter is now live.

Ghosts of Hefei (GoF) features a competitive tabletop miniatures game experience where rival gangs battle to steal robot workers in a dystopic, near-future Earth. A direct sequel to Four-Color Figures' recent game, The Department, GoF focuses its lens on the action and drama transpiring on the mean streets of 2070s Hefei, China.
Players take command of a gang with the purpose of stealing fabricants (fabricated human simulants) to sell on the black market. These gangs act as agents for the major global organized crime syndicates. Players use a combination of hacking, guile, and combat to compete for money and influence in the lucrative and dangerous international fabricant trade.
