Mantic Games - Dreadball Sale

Mantic Games announced a new Dreadball sale:

Fancy getting 10 teams for a frankly ridiculous price? The 10 Team Mystery Bundle comes with 10 teams chosen at random. You'll get a mix of teams from a variety of seasons. It's perfect if you're thinking of starting a club league and want to have a blind draft at the start of the season.

A selection of teams are now half-price! Great, if you want to choose your favourite team to take to the pitch.

Mantic Games - Dreadball 2.0 Announcement

Mantic Games announced a new edition of Dreadball:

SECOND EDITION 2.0
The final result is a much-improved version of DreadBall! Some of the highlights include:
More balanced teams ensure that a season one squad can still be competitive against newer teams
New fouling system – why play fair, when you can play dirty?
No more random events – the Event deck has been adapted so there are no more random events, making it far more tactical during competitive play
New Captains – each team will now have their own captain. The captains come with their own event/action cards, many of which are unique for that team
All of these combine to make DreadBall Second Edition feel like a fresh experience for hardened veterans, while new players should find the streamlined rules much easier to pick up and play.
DreadBall Second Edition is already on its way to Kickstarter backers (in fact, some may have already received it by the time you read this). For those who didn’t back the Kickstarter, a new two-player starter set – which includes the new Yndij and Robot teams – will be available in April. Alongside this, you’ll also be able to pick up the other new teams (Matsudan and Cyborgs) at the same time.
