You may be wondering why in the heck my cards are Halloween themed?!? Well.. I started out making a zombie birthday card for my nephew using the awesome little guy below and I realized how perfectly these stickers and the sentiments fit onto these little ready made cards, so I went a little crazy. :) If nothing else, I'll have some cute cards ready for Halloween next year!

I always like crafting with "off" season goodies... I'm pretty CRAZY like that! :)

I added a strip of washi tape and a few little sequins for some extra detail.

Here is what I used to make my cards...
- Doodlebug Halloween Parade Stickers & Washi Tape

Paper Smooches Mini Card Set

Hey friends!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! WE did! My husband had his first days off since Jan 2nd so even though this kids were still feeling a bit under the weather, we tried to make the best of it and do some fun activities!!

Bria went skiing for the first time on Friday with her Kindergarten class so we decided to go again and let Brittyn try it out.

I'm not a big fan of winter - especially when I am stuck in the house a lot with little ones - so it's really exciting that the kids are starting to take up some winter sports like hockey and skiing to get ourselves out of the house!!

Onto why you are probably really here.... My project for today!! :)

I recently purchased a few sets of Paper Smooches stamps because they looked super fun to color. I have been loving them!!

I wanted to make a little set of fun cards so I used some little mini stitched cards by Doodlebug Design.

I love this cute little hampster!!! I used some star dies from My Creative Time, Pebbles washi tape and sequins.

Does he look like he's in a hurry to 'shell-ebrate'?!

I don't know what possessed me to color my cat purple, but doesn't she look GLAM?? I knew my little girls would love this..

I am entering these cards over at the Paper Smooches Challenge blog!!

Baby Blues

Happy Monday!!

So lately I have realized that I am sooo busy working on projects and keeping up with life in general that my posts have become rather... boring... I'd like to get back to more personal posts so I'm going to work at that! Hopefully you will all find my blog a more interesting place to visit!! :)

Today I have a layout I am soo excited to share!! I have been wanting to make a layout using the hearts from the Jaded Blossom Valentine Dies since the moment I saw them!! I recently received a very lovely, LARGE box of goodies from Pebbles Inc and one of the collections in the box was the Americana Collection. I have been saving these pics of my baby since last summer and I knew they would match the new collection perfectly!

I love how this turned out and I feel like I can use these dies on almost every project!

The smaller heart dies make awesome little accents on a bigger project, such as a layout. They would look super cute covered in glossy accents or with a chunky/coarse glitter!!

I added some of the smaller hearts sporadically around my layout using pop dots to make them stand out.

Here are the supplies I used to make my layout...
- Americana Collection from Pebbles Inc
- Queen & Co. Washi Tape
- Sequins from Neat *Happy Monday, Jaded Blossom fans!! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses. Today I have a layout I am soo excited to share!! I have been wanting to make a layout using the hearts from the Valentine Dies since the moment I saw them!!

I Think of You Periodically...

Hi crafty peeps!!!! :)

Did you all get a chance to hop with the JB girls and friends in October for Ann's Science Birthday Blog Hop??? If not, you missed out!!! :) There were tons of great projects using the two new science stamp sets!

I can't get enough of them!!!

I used a fun Einstein cutting file from SVG Cutting Files who went perfectly with this sentiment!

If you can tell from the picture, I love to use textured cardstock on my projects. Sometimes stamping on textured cardstock can be a little tricky so I use a SewEasy foam mat to put under my cardstock before I stamp. It helps the image or sentiment to come out crisp and clear. You could also use a mouse pad, if you don't have a SewEasy mat.

Here is what I used to make my card...
Science Matters stamp set from Jaded Blossom
Einstein from SVG Cutting Files
Wavy Card Base from SVG Cutting Files
Queen & Co chevron washi tape from Trendy Twine
Celebration twine from Trendy Twine
- Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

Happy Halloween Treat Bags!

Hi everyone! Halloween is SOOOO close I can taste it!! If only I was ready for it! :) Haven't quite got the kids' costumes figured out... but at least I have the treats finished!! That's the important part, right?! :)

It is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom Blog today!! I made these fun little treat bags for my daughter's playschool class...

Since I had to make so many of these, I didn't add a whole lot of detail to them. It makes me want to cry when I see the kids tear them apart without so much as a glance at my fax stitching... :)

My daughter, on the other hand, can appreciate all my details.... So hers is a bit prettier. ;)

I used an adorable little witch file that my daughter picked out from the SVG Cutting Files store and a sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Best Witches stamp set.

I choose a cute, simple treat topper from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store and added some washi tape (from Trendy Twine), my witch and sentiment.

I hope you all have an awesome Halloween!!!!! Thanks for stopping by!

Baking Up Some Love - Peachy Keen

Hello!! Today I'm a guest designer over at Peachy Keen!!!! Love Peachy Keen!!!

Today I have the cutest layout to share with you, using some photos I took of my baby when she turned six months old.

I cannot resist putting cute little Peachy Keen faces on food!!

I used two of my very favorite face stamps for my cupcakes, the Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment and the In the Garden Face Assortment. I always stamp my faces using StazOn ink, color them in with gelly roll pens and then add some rosy cheeks using chalk.

I also used the Lucy's ABCs and 123s stamp set to make a fun little banner on the bottom. I stamped my numbers and letters using Versamark (which I find works best for embossing) and white embossing powder.

Here are the all the supplies I used to make my layout...
Peachy Keen In the Garden Face Assortment Stamp Set
Peachy Keen Lucy's ABCs and 123s SOLIDS stamps
- Baking Up Some Love Cutting files from Miss Kate Cuttables
- Pebbles Washi Tape
- Paper from Bella Blvd
- Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine
- Grape Fizz Trendy Twine
- Charm & Banner dies from Jaded Blossom
- white gelly roll pen
- sequins

Thanks so much for stopping in!! Have an awesome day!!
