Holiday Wishes & Gingerbread Kisses (Plus an Announcement!)

For my GIVEAWAY, click HERE!!!
For my Pink By Design Technique Post click HERE!!!

Guess what?! I am now a member of the Cameo Creations Challenge Design Team!!!

I LOVE to use my cameo and I know some of the ladies on the DT and thought it would be a great team to be on to learn some new things!!!

Today is my very first day to post, and I didn't have a lot of time, so my project is pretty simple.

I used the print and cut feature (my favorite!!) on the cameo (after I used offset to add an outline) to create my little gingerbread girl. I used glossy accents on the bow, eyes, buttons and lollipop then added some trendy twine. This graphic came from the Dollar Graphics Depot and all the paper is from a Recollections Christmas stack from last year.

The sentiment stamped on the inside of the card is from Scrappy Mom's Winter Wishes set.

Make sure to head over to the Cameo Creations Challenge blog to check out the rest of the projects. Then make sure to link up your ANYTHING GOES Christmas Project for a chance at this prize...

ONE last thing!! I am also having a giveaway this week!!!

Pink By Design Post

Today is my day to post over at the Pink By Design Blog and speaking of the PBD blog - there are some great new changes coming in November!! I can't wait! Make sure to stop over there and watch for some upcoming news!!

I can really say I am starting to feel great about my goals to catch up on layouts!! Of course, this comes as I am about to have pics from the arrival of Baby #3, Halloween, Christmas and then a trip to Disney all within 2 months!! It's a good thing I'm starting to feel caught up because I'm about to be in over my head again soon! :)

I wanted to take a bunch of random baby pics of Brittyn and get them all onto one layout so I went out in search of a layout sketch. Of course, I found the perfect sketch, saved it and then totally forgot where it came from... :( I saved the file under a name 'MY August sketch' thinking it would make me remember where I found it - turns out, I have NO recollection as to what MY stands for...

Anyways, great sketch!!!

I turned it into a 2 page LO.

I have been really wanting to use my Capture Life stamp set from Pink By Design and this layout was the perfect opportunity!  I got the adorable baby animal graphics from The Dollar Graphic Depot, printed and cut them, then popped them up using foam stickers.

I used some Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine to make a cute little banner, along with some more files from the Silhouette store. My little yellow bows are made from 3 Girl Jam ribbon (and my bow maker!!).

I found my title in the Silhouette store (as well as the 3D stars) and added some detail with a white pen.

I stamped the polaroid image a couple of times with pink ink and then cut it out. I used a couple cute sentiments that came with the set to add captions under the polaroids.

One of my all time favorite sentiments from Pink By Design is from the Sweet Baby set.

Love these little polaroids!!! :)

I hope you loved my layout today!! Have a great day!!

Melisa's Crafty Creations Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone!!! So glad you've stopped by for Melisa's Blog Hop today!! I'm so happy to be a part of her blog's anniversary!!

If you are here from Barb's blog - Bug Bites - then you are in the right spot! If not, make sure you head back to Melisa's Blog so you don't miss out on any of the projects or giveaways!!

The theme for this hop - Fall or Halloween - was so easy for me since I have been diving right into those types of projects lately! I've also been working really hard to get some layouts done! I would love to be caught up, but unfortunately, these pics are still from LAST fall...

I purchased these graphics - Autumn Angels - from The Dollar Depot. I thought they would go perfectly with these pictures of Bria.

I used a circle punch and some twine from The Twinery to create these super easy banners. I just folded the circles in half and adhered them over the twin.

I used a freebie file from Designs On Cloud 9 to make my leaves. The paper came from an autumn stack by Recollections from last fall. I am so in love with the colors in this stack.

Of course I had to dress up these graphics after I printed and cut them. I dusted off my Martha Stewart glitter glue to give my little angels some sparkle.

If you happen to get lost along the way here is the lineup! Now off to see what Elizabeth from 217 Creations has in store for you!!! :)

Christmas Baking Tags, A Giveaway & A Winner!

Hey Everyone!! :) I was going to wait to wait and post this project on Monday, but I love it when other people post over the weekend so in case there are other people out there like me I thought I'd post today! :) Before I show you my project for today I wanted to mention a couple other things....

I still have never heard back from the winner of the Flirty Girl stamp set, sponsored by Pink By Design, from  my 'It's A RAINBOW Party' Blog Hop. I (or random.org, rather) choose a new winner!! It's...

VIRGINIA BOOMFIELD!!

Congrats!!! :)

If you would like to be a winner, I am also giving away ANOTHER stamp set from Pink By Design!! It's the Our Teachers set!!
If you would like to be entered to win this set, please head on over to THIS post and leave a comment!! Also make sure you are a follower!!

OK, time for my project!! :) Last Christmas my mom asked her to make some tags she could attach to her Christmas baking she made for an exchange with some other ladies. I thought this year I would get ahead of the game since my baby is due November 5th and I wasn't sure how much time I would have to complete projects closer to Christmas.

My favorite thing to do right now is to use the print/cut feature on my cameo (as I've said about 100 times in my recent posts!!). I almost always blank out the faces on the graphics so I can add my own adorable Peachy Keen faces. I wish I could remember which face assortment set I used for this project... I'm a little tired (lazy?!! ;)) to go downstairs to check...

I also always add some glossy accents, glitter, etc. to add some dimension to my print and cut embellishments. Otherwise, I find them a bit FLAT.

I purchased these cute Christmas baking graphics from The Dollar Graphics Depot. LOVE these super cheap graphics, and soooo much selection!

(Sorry, bad photography... :() I used a small circle punch to make holes in the corners and tied some raphia in there as a way to hang the tags from the baking.

I used random papers all from Christmas Recollections stacks that were out last year at Christmas time. I made three of each of the four different designs and put them into a little set of tags for my mom. Print and cut makes duplicating projects sooo quick and easy!

I found the 'to:' and 'from:' on the Christmas Wishes stamp set from Pink By Design. Speaking of Pink By Design... This is my 150th post tagged with Pink by Design, which means I have approx 150 Pink By Design projects on my blog!!!! That's a lot of Pink By Design inspiration!!! :)

I'll be linking this little project up over at this weeks Peachy Keen Challege - Anything goes!! Did you happen to notice my project from last weeks PK challenge was chosen as TOP PEACH?? Now that's a great honor since there are sooo many awesome projects linked up there each week!!!
