Welcome to Parenthood!

Hey everyone!! I have a super fun card for you today using my new Scrappy Moms stamps!! Now, just to be clear... this card was not in any way inspired by MY three little princesses... ;)

Funniest little monster ever, right?!

Wait until you see him WOBBLE!!! :) Here he goes...

This was my very first time using an Action Wobble! I only have two of them (given to me by a friend) and I have been saving them for a special occasion!! This monster just wouldn't have been the same with out a wobble! I knew exactly what I was going to do with this sentiment when I saw it!!

This sentiment came from one of the new releases from Scrappy Moms on Friday...

I even broke out my Ditto glimmer mist for this card! Love that lime green spray!! :) Need to use it more often.

Here are all the supplies I used for my card...
- Monster from Miss Kate Cuttables
- Action Wobble
- Fun Celebrations stamp set from Scrappy Moms
- striped paper from Stampin' Up
- Ditto green glimmer mist
- Colorbox fluid chalk ink

Hope you are all having a GREAT weekend!! I have lots of new crafty goodies that I hope to get into today!! Hopefully my little monsters, er, angels, let me have some peaceful time in my craft room! :)

And Then There Were 5...

Happy Saturday!! I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little cabin fever... Two of my girls have been sick these past couple days so we really haven't left the house. :( The only plus side of this is lots of cuddles annnnd a little online shopping... Since I can't get out of the house, I need a little excitement and the instant gratification of buying digital paper and elements is just the ticket!

My recent purchase was a couple of Echo Park kits. I got looking at one, Sweet Day, and realized it would be the perfect collection to use for a layout of the very first time we had our family of five together.

I used a little kraft bag as a place to store a cute little picture Bria drew and brought to the hospital as a gift for Taylah.

Love the new Dancing In Circles 2 stamp set from Scrappy Moms...

The supplies I used in this layout are...
- Echo Park Sweet Day digital collection
- Scrappy Moms Dancing In Circles Stamp set
- My Creative Time stitched circle dies
- Gold Shimmer twine from The Twinery (sold at Scrappy Moms Store)
- brackets from the Silhouette store
- hearts from Miss Kate Cuttables
- yellow ribbon from Little Free Radicals
- rich cocoa Momento ink
- Colorbox Fluid chalk ink
- kraft bag from Oriental Trading
- white gelly roll pen

I am linking this layout up over at Paper Issues (thank you Paper Issues for featuring a couple of my projects lately!!!), My Creative Time and Stuck On U Sketches.

I have more, more and more projects using the new Scrappy Moms stamps in the next few days! And don't forget about my giveaway ending soon...

Goodie Bags

Hi!! Today I wanted to show you what I put together for Bria's playschool class. It was quick and easy.... so I didn't CRY when I saw the little ones ripping my bag toppers right off! :) Oh print and cut... what did I ever do without you?? ;)

I let Bria choose three animals from the Christmas Nights graphic set from Stockberry Studio. I printed them out then cut them with my cameo. All of the sentiments are from the Winter Wishes stamp set by Scrappy Moms.

I used a couple different Peachy Keen stamp sets for my animals' faces.

I think this is by far my favorite set of Christmas sentiments that I own. So adorable. I also recently received two more great sets from Scrappy Moms which were part of my crafty Black Friday shopping! I think I may do a haul video - there were a lot of goodies!! :)

And that's it... super quick and easy. Plus, they were a hit with the kiddies!

Have a great day!

Holiday Wishes & Gingerbread Kisses (Plus an Announcement!)

For my GIVEAWAY, click HERE!!!
For my Pink By Design Technique Post click HERE!!!

Guess what?! I am now a member of the Cameo Creations Challenge Design Team!!!

I LOVE to use my cameo and I know some of the ladies on the DT and thought it would be a great team to be on to learn some new things!!!

Today is my very first day to post, and I didn't have a lot of time, so my project is pretty simple.

I used the print and cut feature (my favorite!!) on the cameo (after I used offset to add an outline) to create my little gingerbread girl. I used glossy accents on the bow, eyes, buttons and lollipop then added some trendy twine. This graphic came from the Dollar Graphics Depot and all the paper is from a Recollections Christmas stack from last year.

The sentiment stamped on the inside of the card is from Scrappy Mom's Winter Wishes set.

Make sure to head over to the Cameo Creations Challenge blog to check out the rest of the projects. Then make sure to link up your ANYTHING GOES Christmas Project for a chance at this prize...

ONE last thing!! I am also having a giveaway this week!!!

For details on how you can win, check out THIS post!!

Owl Be Home For Christmas

Well not being able to take a little baby out in the cold has left us some spare time around the house... Not going to complain, it has led to a little crafting! :)

This morning the girls and I made cards for Bria's preschool teachers!!

Bria choose these little owl graphics from JW Illustrations and I had the perfect sentiment in mind to go with them! I used the print and cut feature on my cameo, then inked around the little white squares. I used some white embossing powder, a sentiment from the Winter Wishes set from Scrappy Moms and some faux stitching with a white gelly roll pen to finish it up.

Gotta run!! Off to get some more activities ready for the girls while they are napping!! :)

Greatest Joy

Hey everyone! :) I got to spend some time in my craft room yesterday and today and that makes me sooo happy! Of course I am in the mood to work on Christmas projects - who isn't?! - so I was soo happy to see that the theme of the challenge at Scrappy Mom's this week is CHRISTMAS! :) I am allll over this!

I started with some pics from not last Christmas (because apparently I LOST all the pics from last Christmas, which is heartbreaking...).

I started by making a tag using some cuts from a Recollections stack, the Damask background stamp by Pink By Design, some Distress Ink, ribbon, pearls and a little angel embellishment from the jewelry department at WalMart.

I used my sewing machine to stitch some pieces of patterned paper in the background, added a little 'tag' under my picture with a cute sentiment from Scrappy Moms, some large forest green felt ribbon, letters embossed with gold powder and last, but not least, a 'JOY' tag made from Pink By Design stamps.

Speaking of Scrappy Mom's... I don't know if you noticed, but there is a new badge on my sidebar!! I will be the Guest Designer over at Scrappy Moms for the month of February! I cannot wait to get to know another great group of ladies!! :)

Peachy Keen November Release Challenge #2

CLICK HERE FOR MY PRETTY PAPER, PRETTY RIBBONS POST!!

Just a super quick post... This morning I completed a card for the second Peachy Keen Challenge for their November release.

I used a snowflake flourish from the Silhouette store and added a 1 1/4" circle in the middle with a Peachy face. I used a blush copic for its cheeks and added some glossy accents over its eyes. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms and I added some lace & velvet ribbon from Michaels.

I used really thick foam stickers to give this card a few different layers for dimension.

Hope you like my card!! I'm off for a little rest...

More Christmas Tags!

Hi friends! A couple days ago I posted some Christmas tags I made using the print/cut feature... I had so much fun making them that I made some more! :) I think I am addicted to making them! I have even one more set in the works!!

For this set of tags, I used some graphics from MyGrafico along with a combination of sentiments from the Winter Wishes stamp set from Scrappy Moms (adorable set!!!!!) and the ever popular Old Time Christmas.

I wish I would have made a tutorial video showing how I made these... Someday I will learn!! Actually, I think what I need is a bigger tripod. I just can't seem to make my small one work in the way I want to set it up.

I added some glossy accents and sparkles to add some dimension to the graphics. Of course I had to add a cute little Peachy Keen face too!! :)

I really wanted to use twine for the strings but I don't have any that matched!! I have some on the way from Trendy Twine but it hasn't showed up quite yet.

I tried to take this pic to show how much detail the glossy accents adds to the graphics. I will definitely need to be buying a new bottle of this wonderful stuff soon!!

The Old Time Christmas stamp set also has the 'To:' and 'From:' stamps in it.

Thanks for stopping by!! :)

Snow Friend

Hi Everyone!!! Hope you all had a chance to check out the blog hop I was a part of on Sunday!! I will be announcing the winner of the embossing plate tomorrow, so make sure to check back then to see if it's YOU! :)

I have another very important reminder as well... Today is the very LAST day to apply for the Pink By Design DT!! Make sure you get your applications in, it's such a great team to be on!!

My project today was inspired by this photo over at Pretty Little Studio...

I love how this layout turned out, the colors worked so well...

The paper I used was from the DCWV Baby Boy stack.

I used the Small Banners stamp set from Pink By Design for this banner. I am soooo loving this set, I think I use it on almost every layout lately!! The word 'friend' was welded and cut from the Birthday Bash cartridge.    I made my own stick pin - also a new obession - and used some old snowflake embellishments to add some sparkle.

The little banner was cut by hand, and the sentiment came from the Scrappy Moms set Winter Wishes.

I cut this precious moments picture from a storybook I picked up from a thrift store for about 50 cents. I love how it turned out!!!

I am entering this layout into the Inspiration Challenge over at Pretty Little Studio and also linking it up in the Link Up Party over at Pink Cricut!! Make sure to head over there and check out all the great projects!!

I am also entering this into the Winter Wonderland Challenge over at Lawn Fawn.  This is the very first time I have participated in one of their challenges! Love finding great new challenges!!

Christmas Wishes & Gingerbread Kisses

Hi Everyone!! I am really starting to get into the Christmas spirit now!! I usually don't let myself until the first of December... I am almost done buying gifts and now I'm onto wrapping them! Today I am showing you the gifts we got for Bria's playschool teacher and helper. But, before we get to that... The girls were over at Grandma's house the other day baking Gingerbread men!!! So cute!!

Bria was in heaven, she loves baking!!

Brittyn didn't help much with the baking, but she sure loved eating!! :)
Of course watching them make Gingerbread men with Grandma got me thinking! When we got home I decided to use my NEW Scrappy Mom's stamp set that I just received in the mail (I won it in one of their challenges!!).

I love this sentiment!!! So adorable!!

This tag was really simple to make...
- tag shape is cut from Once Upon a Princess - I cut 2 red shapes for each tag, the front one is embossed with an argyle pattern and the back one is stamped and heat embossed with white powder. I used the Christmas Wishes set by Pink By Design for the 'to' and 'from'
- the gingerbread men were cut from Stretch Your Imagination and the face stamped with the Happy Lashes Peachy Keen stamp set. I used my white Martha Steward glitter pen for white details on the man, and Recollections pearls for buttons.
- I used The Twinery twine to wrap the tissue/foil paper and tie the tag on

I am entering this into the challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut this week!!
