Hairy Lil Monkey

Click HERE for the ScrapbookSteals June Blog Hop!!!

Hey everyone!! Did you see the newest Peachy Keen stamps?? Awesome, as always!! There are a couple new face assortment sets that I NEED to get my hands on!! Today I had my two older girls in my craft room with me long enough to put together a fun little layout using the Summer Days Collection by Echo Park - my FAV - for one of the PK release challenges!!!

I had some American Crafts Thickers left from the ScrapbookSteals hop (going on right now - HERE) and I wanted to use some of my brown flock that has been collecting dust. The brown hairy letters screamed 'MONKEY' to me! :) I used this cute little monkey graphic from Pixel Paper Prints a couple days ago on THIS card and I loved her so much I wanted to use her again!! I love how the PK teddy faces look on her!!

Of course I used some dies from My Creative Time... I have never been a die person until lately!! I am sooo in love with Emma's dies and I used them on almost every project! I LOVE when I get my money's worth out of craft supplies!!

Here is what I used to create my layout..
- Peachy Keen Teddy Bear Face Assortment
- Echo Park Summer Days collection
- My Creative Time doily and scalloped circle die
- American Crafts DIY Thickers
- brown Martha Stewart flock
- dollarstore rhinestones

Hope you liked my layout!! I am hoping to get in a project for the other Peachy Keen release challenge going on right now, too! :)

Swinging By to Say Hi!

It's Wednesday night, so what does that mean?! Candace is working on her weekly Peachy Keen Challenge project! :) It is becoming my weekly routine!!

The theme this week over at Peachy Keen is a sketch challenge...

And here is the sketch...

I used an adorable monkey from the Monkey Girl set from Pixel Paper Prints and added a Peachy Keen face. I bet you didn't know the PK teddy bear faces work GREAT for cute little monkeys!?

Here is what I used to make this card..
- Peachy Keen Teddy Bear faces
- Monkey Girl Graphics from Pixel Paper Prints
- sentiment from the Jungle Fever stamp set from Pink By Design
- twine from the twinery
- grass from the Silhouette store
- doily die from My Creative Time

Now I'm off to link up over at Peachy Keen, then I'll be working on some more projects for their release challenges tonight!! FUN!! :)

Family is Everything

Happy, Happy Monday! I am so excited for today... mostly because we all got OUT OF THE HOUSE!! :) It's a miracle! Little Taylah is still sick, but she's on the mend! Never did I think dropping Bria off and playschool and getting groceries would feel so exciting! :)

Know what else is exciting?! The Peachy Keen release sneaks! If you have seen them then you know what I'm talking about! My card today was actually inspired by this week's PK challenge - STARS. This is my second project for this challenge... I never read the directions correctly and made a layout when I was supposed to make a card... I'll show you my layout tomorrow! :)

I used some graphics from Pixel Paper Prints and blanked out their faces so I could add my own Peachy Keen faces.

My sentiment is a little hard to read... :( I wish I would've embossed using a different color, but oh well... live and learn! :)

Here is what I used to make this card...
- starfish & rainbow striped digital paper from Sea Animals for Girls from Pixel Paper Prints
- Echo Park wave SVG from Silhouette store (welded to a rectangle)
- blue Ombre digital paper from Sassy Designs
- Peachy Keen Princess and Baby Face Assortment sets
- sentiment from Bracketful stamp set by Pink By Design
- white embossing powder
- white gelly roll pen

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great day!!
