So Loved

YAWWWWWN. Today I am so jealous of anyone who can catch a nap. :) When I first made this layout I thought my little angel was having a sweet little thought with her eyes closed... today, I'm pretty sure she's happily having a nap! :)

I used my FAVORITE stack EVER by Recollections for this layout - Today, Tomorrow, Forever. This is the only stack I can honestly say that I am going to buy a second of.

I know this angel is super adorable, but please take a moment to appreciate that awesome chevron ribbon behind her clouds. Isn't it the prettiest ribbon ever?! I bought it from Little Free Radical (Etsy) but I know there are a few places that sell it.

Check out how fine the letters in my title are... Super intricate and my cameo had NO problem cutting them. Man, I LOVE that machine!!

What I used to make this layout...
- Today, Tomorrow, Forever Recollections stack
- Kadoodle Bug Designs Angel SVG
- Clouds & stars from Silhouette store
- sentiment from Baby Love by Pink By Design
- Chevron ribbon from Little Free Radical
- Martha Stewart gold glitter glue
- Colorbox fluid chalk ink

Hope you all have a great day!! :)

Snow Cute - Trendy Twine Guest Designer

Hi crafty friends!! It's my day to post over at Trendy Twine again!! This week I have a project that fits this month's challenge theme: Show Us Your Mittens

For all the details of the challenge click HERE

I LOVE the Watermelon Taffy twine and it matched perfectly with some cute mitten paper I had on hand.

I used an adorable bear cutting file from Kadoodle Bug Designs and added a Peachy Keen face. I really need the new bear face stamps from PK... I don't think the stamp I used is actually a bear face, but it works, right?! ;) With some ZipDry glue on the back of my die cut to hold the end of the twine, I wrapped my twine around the bear's hat. My snowflakes are cutting files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I created the title myself in Silhouette Studio.

Here is a closer peek at the twine on my cute little bear....

I used chalk ink to ink up all the edges of my bear's pieces to give it a little more detail. Love how she turned out! :) The snow the bear is walking on is actually a border from the Silhouette store. All the paper is from a Recollections Christmas stack in stores this past Christmas.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure you link up your projects using twine, mittens, snowflakes, buttons and PINK right HERE!! :) There will be a $10 store coupon up for grabs, as well as a $2 coupon for ALL qualifying entries!! How sweet is that?!

Next Friday I will be back on the Trendy Twine blog for my last appearance with a cute card!! Make sure to stop by then! :)

Pink By Design - Anything BUT a card

For my GIVEAWAY click HERE!!

Hey everyone!!
So today is my last day as a Pink By Design Designer. This was the very first DT that I was ever on and I have been on this team for over a year and a half so it's a bit sad. I have learned SO much from my fellow DT members and my crafting has come a loooooong way in a year and a half. I am so lucky to have met a lot of the members, as well as the owner, Sarah. That being said, everything happens for a reason and I know different opportunities await me and I will meet even more great crafters!! :)

Onto my project!! :) It's "Anything but a Card" day at the Pink By Design blog! Which is my favorite, since I LOVE creating layouts! I am super excited to show you this layout, which I did mostly using digital paper.

The digital paper is from Peppermint Creative - and no, I don't own a wide format printer. Digital paper is great even with using a regular printer!! The title and gingerbread angel came from Kadoodle Bug Designs. I am SUCH a sucker for gingerbread people!! And apparently real gingerbread too, as I keep sneaking walls and roofs of my daughter's gingerbread village.... It's a good thing we have Sparkle the Elf around, who can take the blame! :)

I used a combination of Pink By Design stamps for the message on the ornament: So Big and Old Time Christmas (which I am giving away HERE!!!) . The cute little ginger's face is from the Happy Lashes set from Peachy Keen stamps.

I created my own embellishments using digital paper in the Silhouette software - which has become my new favorite thing to do! I am sooo in love with little epoxy circles! I also added a little twine bow in kraft twine from Trendy Twine.

If you look really close, you can see that to add some detail to my printed paper, I used glitter paint on some of the snowflakes. In real life, this layout is super shimmery. I got this paint in the Peachy Keen store and love it.

I hope you loved my layout as much as I do! Make sure you head on over to the Pink By Design Blog for more inspiration!!! ALSO - don't forget to link up your non-traditional colored projects below!!! You could win a $10 gift certificate to Pink By Design!!
