Oh the Places You Will Go...

Who loves Dr. Seuss??!! More like, who doesn't love Dr. Seuss??? :)
We are celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday in March by sharing a lot of awesome Seuss cutting files and projects we made with them!!

Here is what I made using some pictures from our visit to Seussland in Universal Studios, Florida a year and a half ago...

The Take Note Collection from Doodlebug screamed Dr. Seuss to me!! Love all the bright, fun colors in it!

These files are being given away for free in the SVG Cutting Files Galleria Facebook Group so make sure to head on over there and join!! There are always awesome projects and inspiration being posted over there!!

Sweethearts Collection - Adore You Layout

Hey everyone! Today is a very exiting day for me - I am sharing my very first project as part of the Doodlebug Design DT!!

I have a super sweet layout using goodies from the Sweethearts Collection.
I did a Valentine's Day photoshoot with my girls last year and I have been hanging onto the pictures, waiting for the perfect scrapbooking goodies to turn them into a layout!

Since my daughter's outfit is black I wanted to add touches of black in my layout. The little bit of black looked great with the colors in this collection - love how it turned out!

I made my own title by using a flag die from Jaded Blossom and some of the black Love Letters cardstock stickers, as well as a pretty red heart jewel.

Some of my favorite embellishments in the Sweethearts Collection are these adorable die cut envelopes and letters!! SO cute! I was so happy with how this layout turned out that it now also functions as Valentine decor in my living room!

Here is what I used to make my layout...

Baking Up Some Love - Peachy Keen

Hello!! Today I'm a guest designer over at Peachy Keen!!!! Love Peachy Keen!!!

Today I have the cutest layout to share with you, using some photos I took of my baby when she turned six months old.

I cannot resist putting cute little Peachy Keen faces on food!!

I used two of my very favorite face stamps for my cupcakes, the Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment and the In the Garden Face Assortment. I always stamp my faces using StazOn ink, color them in with gelly roll pens and then add some rosy cheeks using chalk.

I also used the Lucy's ABCs and 123s stamp set to make a fun little banner on the bottom. I stamped my numbers and letters using Versamark (which I find works best for embossing) and white embossing powder.

Here are the all the supplies I used to make my layout...
Peachy Keen In the Garden Face Assortment Stamp Set
Peachy Keen Lucy's ABCs and 123s SOLIDS stamps
- Baking Up Some Love Cutting files from Miss Kate Cuttables
- Pebbles Washi Tape
- Paper from Bella Blvd
- Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine
- Grape Fizz Trendy Twine
- Charm & Banner dies from Jaded Blossom
- white gelly roll pen
- sequins

Thanks so much for stopping in!! Have an awesome day!!

Craftin' Desert Diva's Guest Designer - Picture Perfect

FOR THE LITTLE PRINCE BLOG HOP - CLICK HERE

Hi!! Today I am a guest designer over at Craftin' Desert Diva's Linky Party!! If you haven't checked out Tara's Linky Parties, you MUST! :) There are TONS of great projects to gain inspiration from and awesome prizes!!

The theme of this Linky Party is "Anything Goes - With a Button". So easy!! I use a button in almost every one of my projects!!

I decided to make a layout for my daughter's scrapbook using the Recollections stack, Fabulous Me. This stack is the same patterns as the 6x6 pad by My Mind's Eye, but in a 12x12 stack. LOVE! :)

I cut my title and the white flowered scalloped frame out using my Cameo and a My Creative Time doily die for the doily under my little camera. Everything else was cut by hand.

My little camera was paper pieced using a stamp from the Instantly stamp set from Pink By Design. My pink hemp twine is from Liz's Paperloft Boutique.

Now make sure to link up your projects using buttons over at Craftin' Desert Diva's!!

ANOTHER baby Layout Plus Some NEWS!

Hey everyone!! I haven't blogged much this week... My family has been getting over the flu which means cranky kids and no sleep! Plus, Brittyn is getting her eye teeth! :( Poor little monkey, hope they come through sooon!! (For for sake - and mine!)

I have a couple of things to share with you today! The first is that Pink By Design is having a release party tonight!!! I cannot wait! It's been a while since their last release and I am ready for some new PBD goodness!! Make sure you come and join us tonight! Ustream is HERE at 8 CST!

My second announcement is that I will be celebrating my very first anniversary of my blog in February! This calls for a celebration! I'm going to be hosting a blog hop with a TON of amazing and talented crafters as well as some great sponsors (Pink By Design, EAD Designs, and Pretty Little Studio!)! Make sure you mark your calendars, and post the hop badge (on the top left hand side of my blog) on your blogs! The more the merrier! :) The hop takes place from Feb 15 - 17th. My anniversary actually isn't until the 19th but on that day I will be getting on a plane heading to Mexico for my best friend's wedding. Exciting!!! :)

Onto my layout! I have been working on layouts like CRAZY lately! I always have this idea that I'm going to get caught up, but I'm realizing this will probably never happen... Oh well, keeps me busy! :)

Awww.... nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!! And check out her bed head! She had so much hair when she was little!!

Thanks so a video tutorial by Sarah over at Pink Cricut, I am now in love with making hat pins for my projects! Since my New Years resolution is making videos for my blog, maybe I'll make you a quick video showing you how to make them!!! Leave a comment if this is something you would like to see! :) I used the Vintage Labels and  Love Always. I also used my new Wall Decor circut cartridge for the onesie. I am loving this cart! I picked it up because it was cheap, not really thinking I would like it, but I do!! I have been using it non-stop since I got it! The bling is Recollections from Michaels.

I added some glossy accents to the flowers to give some extra texture. I love jazzing up my background papers with stickles or glossy accents!!

Here are the two stamp sets I used on this layout....

Love Always

Vintage

Well that's all for today!!! I'm hoping to get some projects done for my friend's wedding shower coming up so hopefully I can post those soon!! Take care everyone!!
