Christmas Blog Hop - Day 3!!

Hello everyone!!!! It's Day 3 of the Christmas Blog Hop!!! Make sure you head to Angela's blog - The Bling Theory for the start of the hop! This has been a THREE DAY hop, with new projects each day, so if you have missed any days, be sure to back track for even more inspiration!!!

Here is my third Christmas card...

Here is my recipe...
- the snowflake is from Doodlecharms, I used white pearl PearlEx mixed with water in a little mister to give it a shimmery effect. I also added a few rhinestones from the dollarstore for extra sparkle. The cute little face is from the Happy Lashes set by Peachy Keen
- the sentiment is from the Celebrate Christmas stamp set by Pink By Design
- Recollections paper
- snowflake embossing folder for the blue layer
- ribbon from my Michaels
- white faux stitching with white gelly roll pen

And one more reminder of the blog candy! I am giving away a set of  winter rub ons from Fancy Pants!!! I love these!! (But I am willing to part with them since it IS the season of giving! :))

Please make sure that you are a follower of my blog and leave a comment with a way I can contact you! I will randomly draw a winner and announce it here tomrrow!

Holiday Cheer and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Hey everyone!!! Happy Halloween!!! My girls and I have such a busy day today..... Halloween Party at Preschool, then come home for some lunch and a rest then TRICK OR TREATING!! Bria has been practicing since the summer!! I know she's going to have a great time!

Ok... so although it's Halloween today, I happened to make a Christmas card... As much as I love Christmas, I don't want it to come any time soon... I already miss summer. :( But, I just keep thinking - sooner or later, summer will come again!! It always does! :) Until then, I guess I'll just suck it up!

I made this card for the Scrappy Mom's challenge. It was to use Doodlecharms. Which I never use so it was good to dust it off!

This snowman is supposed to be a cookie... can you tell? I'm undecided.... The card is pretty plain, but I might make a few of them so I wanted to keep it simple.

In this pic, I was trying to show the dimension of the card. Don't you love the little Peachy Keen face???? So cute... My new favorite thing to color the face in with is Glaze pens. So fun.

Anyways, have a great Halloween!!! Everyone cross your fingers my two little princesses behave for me tomorrow! PS - Can't wait to show you their costumes! :)

Some-bunny Loves You!

The My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious Blog Hop for March was last night! I love these blog hops, such talented ladies! :) Someday I would love to be on a design team, I'd better practice up!! :P
The challenge at the end of the blog hop was to make something Spring themed. I decided to make two versions of my card in different colors. Check them out...

Here are some details...
- the egg was cut from Doodlecharms
- Bunny was from Simply Charmed
- Sentiment was My Pink Stamper Even More Punny-licious Set
- faces were Everyday Character Faces from Peacky Keen
- used my cuttlebug folder (I really need to start writing the name of the pattern on the folder before I throw out the packaging...) to emboss the egg and Martha Stewart glitter glue to add some sparkle
- Also used Martha Stewart glitter on the pink bunny's ears and paws and white flock on the blue bunny's ears and paws
- flowers in the grass and the bling in the centers were in my stash

Still have yet to dig into my Boys will be Boys cart! And apparently I have a parcel in at the post office that I can't WAIT to pick up on Monday! I'm expecting a few so I'm so excited to see what it is!!!
