Breitbart: ... Nine-year-old Branson Baker and his parents were in their truck when they found themselves in the path of the severe storms that hit the state and devastated communities, the  New York Post   reported  Thursday. Branson and his parents, Wayne and Lindy Baker, were  trying  to make it to a shelter in Dickson, which is located north of Marietta, when the worst happened, according to CBS Texas. The extremely powerful winds lifted their truck and tossed it into some trees. His parents, who were sitting in the front row of the vehicle, suffered broken backs, necks, ribs, and other severe injuries. According to KNOE 8 News, the twister was  classified  as an EF4. After the truck was thrown, Branson immediately took action and got out of the vehicle, knowing it was up to him to perform the rescue. Strong storm hits American Guam in Pacific

Yahoo: Storm Mawar intensified into a super typhoon on Tuesday, May 23, the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Guam said . The update came as Guam Gov Lou Leon Guerrero issued a mandatory evacuation order for low-lying coastal areas ahead of the storm’s anticipated landfall in the US island territory on Wednesday. In the executive order , Guerrero called on residents of prone areas, especially the villages of Inalahan, Ipan, Talofofo, Malesso, Hagat, and Umatac, “to evacuate and seek shelter in private residences or designated government shelters in higher elevation no later than 6:00 pm, on May 23.” On Monday, May 22, US President Joe Biden approved an emergency declaration and “ordered Federal assistance to supplement Commonwealth and local response efforts due to the emergency conditions resulting from Typhoon Mawar beginning on May 22, 2023, and continuing.” Credit: US National Weather Service Guam via Storyful ...  Guam is a beautiful possession of the US in the P...

Federal and State officials accused of ignoring extreme weather forecast

The Hill: Meteorologist says transportation officials ignored forecasts, leading to I-95 disaster This conforms my original take on the I-95 mess.  The people should have been told to take shelter from the storm like they often are about hurricanes.  There is plenty of lodging and food establishments along that route to take care of those stranded by the winter storm. They should have been announcing the storm and telling people to take shelter on all of the radio stations with emergency broadcast and the state should have had highway patrols diverting traffic to access roads where the hotels and motels are.

Infants survive ride in bathtub during Kentucky tornado

Washington Examiner: T wo Kentucky infants remarkably survived being picked up by a tornado while sheltering inside a bathtub, according to their grandmother. Clara Lutz, the babies'  grandmother , said she placed 3-month-old Dallas and 15-month-old Kaden inside the tub with a blanket and a bible on Friday during a  tornado  warning. "Next thing I knew, the tub had lifted and it was out of my hands," Lutz explained to WFIE-TV. "I couldn’t hold on. I just – oh my God." Lutz was reportedly struck in the back of the head by a water tank during the storm. She searched frantically through the rubble of her house for the children after the storm had passed. "All I could say was, ‘Lord please bring my babies back safely. Please, I beg thee,’" she said. The infants were  miraculously  found unharmed underneath the flipped-over bathtub, which had landed in the backyard, according to a report. Officials from the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office reunited the ...

The climate change scam resurfaces to 'explain' storms

Fox News: FEMA administrator blames climate change for deadly tornado outbreak   Criswell called such a severe and sustained outbreak of deadly storms this late in the year 'unprecedented' Actually, the comments on this story are more interesting than what Criswell has to say:  Power_Is_Work_Over_Time 9 hours ago Tornado's are found most frequently where you have Cold, dry air, mixing with warm moist air, and an Unstable air mass above, that allowed the warm air to continue to rise into air that is colder. It is NOT the amount of heat in the system. It is the differential that creates the power of the tornado system. Tornado's are not found in the tropics where it is warmer. They are found in the mid-latitudes, where cold and warm collide. Reply 441 2 Mikellkeeth 3 hours ago LOL. Do you actually think pointing out the science will accomplish anything? Climate change is a political hoax designed to illicit fear and have people beg the government to save them. Science...
