Turns out that getting arrested was the whole point, and  a dark money group  — which has received in the past over one million a year from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations — was behind the effort. AOC said on Instagram that the Center for Popular Democracy Action Fund asked her and the other members to “submit themselves for arrest in front of the Supreme Court.” But despite admitting that, AOC insisted that it wasn’t a “publicity stunt.” ...  Red States: ... The situation in Minneapolis continues to deteriorate  in the aftermath  of the 2020 George Floyd riots, with murder and auto theft rates rising dramatically. Instead of moving to quell the unrest and restore law and order last year, the city’s council president  pledged to disband  the police department. That’s led to a rash of officers quitting while others take a more hands-off approach out of fear of retribution if they make a mistake. In what can only be described as incredibly ironic, Omar is now complaining about that reality while showing no remorse  for her calls  to “defund the police” that led her city to ruin. ... She really is not that smart.  Other cities will find themselves in a similar problem by enforcing a vaccine mandate that could lead to more police leaving and going to states without mandates. 

 Red States: ... Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) asked two pointed questions, one directed to Omar and the other to Biden. Cruz tweeted, “Why is a Member of Congress acting as the press secretary for Hamas? Does Biden agree?” Terrific questions. Democrats not only never held Omar accountable for her prior anti-Semitic statements, they put her on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and gave her a Vice-Chair position, Vice-Chair on the Africa, Global Health, and Global Human Rights subcommittee. So this isn’t just about the crazy things that Omar says. It’s about the Democrats essentially ignoring all concerns and endorsing her thought by elevating her to a position of leadership on an incredibly important committee. Neither Biden or other Democrats have condemned or called out these most recent comments publicly in any way Omar is an Islamic religious bigot like Hamas.  She and other members of the "Squad" are anti-Semitics who ignore Israel's historic connection to the land of Israe...

NY Times:   Trump Launches Xenophobic Attack Against Omar in Minnesota Speech Chants of ‘‘lock her up” broke out during a campaign rally for President Trump after he accused Representative Ilhan Omar of telling “us” how “to run our country.” When he says she is telling us how to run our country, it just means that he disagrees with her policy proposals.  Turning that into a false allegation of xenophobia is absurd.  I do believe the "lock her up" chant was related to the vote fraud allegations uncovered by Project Veritas that have been tied to Omar.  The Times should cover that story instead of making false allegations against Trump.  The local coverage of the speech shows it was mostly about Trump's support for the "Iron Range."  Trump said, "That is why I am here,"
