Mother's Day Cards and Freebies!

I have a group of cards today using my freebie sentiments (info below) that I made for Mother's Day. These freebies introduce my new etsy download, Watercolor Sentiments.

Here are they close up. I used different scraps of paper from different manufacturers like Graphic 45 and Crate Paper.

These next two use some Spellbinders D-lites that I designed myself called Bluebells and Lily of the Valleys.

I also used on these cards some Want2Scrap pearls, Twinery twine, heart doilies and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L EZ runner.

CAS Mixed Media Card

I am really enjoying mixed media, but sometimes don't like the "messiness" and bulk. Today's card is what I call CAS Mixed Media. I used 3 different color media, but kept the card simple. I used a lot of Penny Black stamps on this card: Allegro, Social Butterfly, Floral Applique, Kind Words, Love Chapter, and Breezy.

I used Dye ink, Pigment Ink and Watercolors (the blue iris and splatters) on my card. I had a little piece of doily on my desk and added that (why not?) :). I then placed Want2Scrap pearls in strategic places to create balance.
