Hello, crafty friends! I'm delighted to have you come visit on this most special of holidays for paper craft lovers like you and me. I'll be spending the day making my Christmas cards with some lovely ladies.
I'm delighted to be a part of the Operation Write Hop bloghop. OWH is a worthwhile organization that sends care packages filled with hundreds of handmade cards to the military so they can send beautiful cards to their loved ones back home."
The theme of the hop is winter. I have two cards for you today that both use my favorite Christmas dies, Spellbinders' Sweet Folk Art. For my first card, I followed Sketch #110. I interpreted the trio of hearts as banners on my card. The angel body, wings were inked on the edges.
The banners and letters are by The Craft's Meow, It's a Banner Day stamp set, which coordinates with Spellbinders Banner Basics Two. I adorned the angel and star with Want2Scrap bling.
For my second card, I followed Sketch #127. I die cut the patchwork tree from Spellbinders' Sweet Folk Art 3times. Each layer of the tree is die cut almost across by the die. It took a little snip of the scissors to separate them to create this quilted look. I'll be sharing the other two cards I created later this week.
I inked the edges of the Kraft tag, which was die cut with Spellbinders Labels Four, with white pigment. The sentiment is from SRM Stickers SBD Christmas.
I hope you'll have a great day today celebrating World Cardmaking Day!

TCM Previews: Oh Deer and Summer Fun
Welcome to Day Four of The Craft's Meow's June release. Today we are showcasing twonew sets, Oh Deer, Aimes' debut set, and Summer Fun, the new Free with $50 purchase this month.
I kind of went pattern-crazy with my first card. :) I just love this new Simple Stories paper collection and I had to paper pieced that cute deer (okay, I didn't need to, but it was so much fun) :).

The set comes with adorable and punny sentiments that will sure bring a smile to anybody's face.
My second card highlights Kaitlyn's new set called Summer Fun, which you will receive for free with a $50 purchase. It has her signature text pattern on some summer icons.
I added the stamped and die cut banners from It's a Banner Day stamp set across the top.
Please make sure you stop by The Craft's Meow's blog for more info in this month's release festivities, including welcoming our two guest DTs this month, Gayatri Murali and Larissa Haskett. Here's another take to the CAS card I showed the other day. This time, I heat embossed the snowflakes with white powder and created this dramatic background.
Here's another vintage card using Season's Greetings, Telegram and Vintage Snowflakes sets. The label is die cut using Spellbinders Labels 14. The flower poinsettia was die cut using my SB Layered Poinsettia dies.
Now, your next stop on the hop is the TCM's talented Guest this month...Sparkle Smith. Make sure you check out the TCM blog for the prize giveaway info. Seven new stamp sets are up for grabs! Happy hopping!

Sunshiney card
I hope you are enjoying The Craft's Meow's previews so far. Today, we're featuring a stamp set designed by my friend Michelle called Baggin' Some Rays. It's so full of sunshiney goodness that will surely bring a smile to your face :-).
I made my card on a rainy day and it sure did bring the MIA sunshine that day into my craft corner, at least. The sun rays, circle and sentiment are from the Baggin' Some Rays set. I added a border of pennants from my It's a Banner Day set, also being released on July 1st.The papers are Echo Park's Dots and Stripes Candy Shoppe collection.

HOPE
Welcome to day 3 of The Craft's Meow's July Release previews. Today we're featuring a set, It's a Banner Day, that coordinates with Spellbinders Banner Basics Three dies. And for the first time, I designed my own alpha stamps that fit inside some of the banner/pennant images. One of the best parts about this set is that you stamp and die cut ONCE for 4 pennants, unlike others where you stamp and die cut each pennant. As you can imagine, that could be time consuming, but no more with It's a Banner Day and Spellbinders Banner Basics Three. :-)
This is my favorite card of the ones I made for this release. It's very simple to make. I made a breast cancer awareness ribbon and added the word HOPE using the It's a Banner Day stamps. The scroll on the center bottom is from Timeless Tags set. The papers are from My Mind's Eye's Hazel.
