Noel and some changes

Before I share my card, I just want to let you know that if you have any questions for me, please use the chat box on my left sidebar. I received a few questions recently, but I was not able to send my response because the sender either didn't provide an email address; or the sender has a complicated spam filter that made my response undeliverable. I was asked to do a 2-3 step verification that included my going to an unknown link. For my own safety, I didn't proceed. From now on, if you have questions, please post in on the chat box. This will also benefit others who might have the same questions. Often emails get lost in my inbox as well and my own spam filter may tag your emails as spam, thus preventing me from seeing it in the first place. Thank you!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was busy that started with my daughter's piano recital. She was nervous, but did very well. I'm a proud mama :).

My card today was for Card Patterns sketch last week. This is a bittersweet moment for me as this is my last card as a member of the Card Patterns DT. In order to simplify my life, I have decided to step down from the CP team, starting the beginning of the year. I have loved my time with Michelle and Tracy and will miss working with these two talented ladies, as well as the many other wonderful ladies who have been part of the DT the last 2 years I was part of it. I won't be a stranger as I will continue to follow the sketch there, just not in an official capacity.

I used Layers of Color's Beautiful Lace and Christmas Verses sets for this one. The vintage girl image is from The Graphics Fairy. I'm entering this to her Brag Monday feature. The papers are Webster's Pages. The bling is Want2Scrap. The lace was cut with Spellbinders dies.

I also help host a Women's Christmas party for our church yesterday. It's an annual event that many ladies look forward to every December. It's our way to reach out to women in our community and is very well received every year. God truly blessed our time.
Here are some of the wonderful ladies with whom I get to share this experience.
Have a great week, friends!

Some CAS Christmas cards

I have some clean and simple cards to share with you today using some Layers of Colors clear art stamps, Christmas Verses and Acanthus Leaves. I mass produced these quickly and cheaply.

I first stamped images from the Acanthus Leaves set in light brown ink, then stamped the quote in a darker color. I used scraps of lace and ribbon to finish the cards.

These are even simpler with no lace. I really like the one with the button. It's perfect for masculine recipients.

Noel and Some Exciting News!

Today's card is for Card Patterns' sketch 136. Our sponsor is My Craft Spot which provided the gorgeous seam binding and twine on my card. I used my newest Layers of Colors stamps, Vintage Postcard and Christmas Verses sets. The papers are Graphic 45. I hope you can play along with us this week.

And now my exciting news is...after much consideration, I decided to divide up my TAC stamps among the stamp companies I work with. Both Layers of Color and The Craft's Meow will be releasing the stamps with styles that fit their respective companies in the next few months. They will be producing them as high quality, photopolymer stamps.

If you're a fan of rubber stamps, I'm currently talking with another company that manufactures rubber stamps to license my designs as well. I'll give more info when that happens.Thank you for your continued interest in my designs.

Joy and Shabby CAS Christmas Card

What a great hop yesterday. Thank you all for your participation, kind words and excitement over the new Layers of Color's Christmas Collection. We are glad you like them.

I have two cards to share with you today. The first one uses Angelic and Christmas Verses clear art stamps. The angels were colored with Copics.
Angels Joy
The second is a simple shabby card, designed to be easily mass produced. This is one of 10 I made yesterday. I will show the others in a future post. I stamped the Vintage Postcard cling stamp with Versamark. The sentiment is from Christmas Verses

Layers of Color's Christmas Release Sneak Peek

The day's finally here when the Layers of Color team can share sneak peeks of our upcoming Sept 19th release of holiday stamps. Laura and I designed 5 clear sets and 2 cling art stamps that are focused on Christmas. I do have one set that coordinates with the Spellbinders Ribbon Banners dies! Most of the new stamp sets were collaborative work between me and Laura. I'm so pleased that our styles are blended in these designs.

My card uses the Angelic and Christmas Verses clear art stamp sets. Laura illustrated the Angelic set and I put together several Christian sentiments and quotes for the Verses set. You will find just the perfect words for the outside and inside of your holiday cards. They will make mass producing beautiful cards quick and easy.

Just like my Encouragement set, Christmas Verses includes some hand-picked quotes from my favorite authors and Bible verses that reflect the message I want to convey in my cards. I mixed and matched some gorgeous, vintage fonts that I hope you will like, too!

Check out the Layers of Color blog for more sneak peeks. And please consider joining the Nina B Designs Facebook Page. Thank you! Have a great weekend!
