First of all, thank you for your kind greetings in yesterday's post. Your visits really make my day. And I want to remind you about my 2nd blog anniversary giveaway. More details HERE. The winner will be picked from one of the commenters all week.
It seems it's been ages since I actually sat down and carefully colored an image. I'm usually a fast card maker. Most of my cards don't take more than 30 minutes to do and right now, that's all I can devote with my busy schedule outside of this hobby. So coloring for me is a leisure because it's time consuming....that and I don't really know how to color and I really don't own that many markers. LOL. I've thought about getting Copic Certified, but just can't justify the cost to take the class.
I've always admired those (like my friends, Asela and Kathy) who can make such beautiful cards with adorable line images that are so popular right now. I usually avoid those stamps because I don't have time to do them justice with my quick cards. But once in awhile a stamp just "calls out" to me :-). Such is the case for the Darling Sisters set by The Greeting Farm that I purchased from Claudia & Co. The 3 girls in this set are just like my girls. It's almost like they were the inspiration behind the stamps.
My card today uses one of the sisters and she reminds me of my oldest, who fixes her hair with one or two pony tails and a pretty hairband almost everyday. She's mommy's little helper in the kitchen and loves to learn how to cook and bake.
