I got the idea of using lace to decorate baubles from Pinterest. I decided to add the year too, the numbers were cut from fun foam.

Poppy Heads Applique
I painted canvas fabric with acrylic paints for this picture. The poppy heads were printed on top with hand made stamps and acrylic paint. The stamps were made with fun foam cut on my Zing cutting machine and stuck to strong card. The poppies were outlined with stitching and I stitched on a few strips of painted fabric for interest.

Handmade Stamps and Sketchbook Pages
Stamps - I drew them, pixel traced them into 'Make the cut' then cut them out of fun foam on my Zing cutter. I stuck them onto various bits of wood or strong card.
Then used them in my sketchbook. The beaver and panda didn't print too well so I will do them again sometime.

Handmade Stamps
I recently bought a cutting machine, a KNK Zing Air. One of the first things I cut was fun foam to make some stamps. The birds were images I found on the web, the rabbit and frog with snail were drawings from my sketchbook and the hare was from a photograph of some decorative architecture relief. I stuck the foam shapes to wood, cardboard and an old plastic card.

Shape Challenge Pattern and Rolling Stamps
This colourful pattern was created using a found object, a metal thing with a shaped hole in it. The same pattern was altered digitally, below.
Rolling Stamps 59-61
This one is made from fun foam
this one from a small piece of table protector
and this one is just cling film
I had an article in Cloth, Paper Scissors about making rolling stamps a couple of years ago. The article is now available as a free download from CPS available here

Shape Challenge & RS 45-47
Two shape challenges - set by myself for myself. I used the scrap of paper shown below for the one directly above. For the top one I used something similar except it was card and not as curved.
Three more rolling stamps, two are textured wallpapers. These make lovely rolling stamps.
The middle on is made from fun foam, quite intricate, inspired by the branches of a tree. As you can see in the picture I drew the pattern on the foam before cutting.
The bottom roller is one flower, a large flower cut from wallpaper, you could probably make this one as a flat stamp if you preferred but it would take up less room as a roller.

Bird in a Cage, IF & RS 34-36
This was created using 2 pictures from The Graphics Fairy, the bird and the cage. The background is one of my creations using stamps and handmade rolling stamps.
The challenge this week with Illustration Friday is the word 'Influence'.
I saw the picture of the penguin in a magazine which I cut out, and I was influenced by it to create the page to stick it on.
