Happy Birthday Max...

Yeah it's my best buddy Max's birthday today and this is the card I posted out to her earlier in the week.  I do love mirri card, but it really doesn't photo very well.  Loads of stuff going on here - the ruby slippers are embossed with a glitter embossing powder and the cogs on the shoes are decoupaged and attached with silver brads.  The die cut cogs and birthday sentiment are all cut from a really glitzy red glitter card which sadly is not showing up much in the photo.  Sigh - this card looks much better in real life - honest!

• Stampendous cling stamp 'Ruby Slippers' - embossed with both plain black embossing powder and red glitter.
• cogs embossing folder
• cog and sentiment dies
• red glitter card, silver mirri card and plain white base card

Off to get ready for the Ross Papercraft Show in Doncaster now.  Only looking as I really don't need any more stash - LOL!

A quiet week at 'Just for Fun'...

Why did I think it was a good idea to reorganise one of my craft cupboards?  What came out doesn't seem to want to fit back in and my craft room looks like a bomb has gone off in it!  

I really need to find some space somewhere as I'm off to the Ross Papercraft show at Doncaster tomorrow and as much as I say I don't need anything I'm sure something will jump out at me and demand to be taken home.

Normal blogging will be resumed as soon as possible, but it may take some time!

Happy Birthday Wanda...

Rather late in the day posting this as I had my grandson over for a sleepover last night and he's only just left. Phew I'm shattered - I'll definitely need an early night after being woken at 5 am with shouts of 'Grannie Annie can we do that jigsaw that's on the table?'  Oh my jigsaws before coffee - eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!
Please excuse the photo of this card - I really should have took another shot as it was such a sunny day that I've managed to get shadows across the card that look like streaks of something!  It's a card made for my forum friend Wanda who has a birthday today.  Hope she is having a great day celebrating.
How cute is that Scottie/Westie dog?  It's one of the stamps in the set of the month at Little Claire Designs - so cute - love it.
