Dreadful - horrible - totally dire week.
My computer has been playing at Silly Billys and has done the strangest things, but I've had it confirmed by a lovely man from Comet that there are no viruses and nothing wrong!
Ha! So why wouldn't it let me type anything?
So why couldn't I access anything in Blogland?
Then as suddenly as it stopped working everything was okay again.
So strange -sheeeeeeeeesh!
Anyway I'm back - although even though working it threw another wobbly last night and after commenting on only 3 friend's blog Google accused me of me a spammer and locked me out! Oh my!
Hopefully this time everything will be okay for a while anyway.
Have a fantastic weekend everyone.

Messy in Cow costume...

I decided (after being given an idea by my daughter) to go for using the stamp for a birthday card. Let's face it, even though I love Christmas, there is a limit to how many Christmas cards you can make and it's nice to be able to find more that one use for the stamps we buy.
Luckily I had some amazing cow print card in my craft stash (got zebra and tiger in there too) and so the background was easy to create. Everytime I looked at the stamp the nursery rhyme about the cow jumping over the moon came in my head so I decided to go with that.
The moon and hat were cut on my Cricut and the fabulous black glitter peel offs are by Anitas.
When Shelley, my younger daughter, saw the card she loved it, but went on to say that it would make a good get well card for somebody who has had a tumble. We have an elderly Aunt, who falls quite often and would really appreciate the fun look of this card.
Well she may be 91, but she still has a lovely sense of humour and this would be just the thing for her or maybe younger kiddies, who end up in plaster.

Baby's First Christmas...

I had sort of prepared myself for the fact that my cards probably wouldn't be shown and it came as a shock to see one right at the very beginning like that. The best kind of shock and I do wonder if Joanna fixed it knowing how excited I would be. I wouldn't be surprised as she is such a warm hearted, caring person.
The card is a large 8" x8" with the Messy Rabbit in his sheep costume in the middle and surrounded by a sparkly ribbon frame, which if I remember rightly was a technique I picked up at the Next Level. Such a shame that the Next Level has stopped - it was an amazing challenge blog.
Messy was coloured using Promarkers and I added a touch of bling to the corners.

Pink Elephant Day!!!

One flower - three brads and one patterned paper.
My flower is again one of the beautiful flowers from the Elusive Images set 'Ruby Tuesday. This time I stamped the flower several times onto card and once onto the purple background paper. I coloured the images using promarkers, cut them out and layered them up.
I added some enormous jewelled diamonds that I bought recently at Poundland. There was 124 sticky backed diamonds for only £1 and unlike some expensive sticky gems they actually peeled off the sheet easily! Isn't that shop just brilliant?
My patterned paper has a very distressed look about it and I'm quite distressed myself that the butterfly design on it is not showing up too well in the photo. It was yet another rainy day in England - I'm just so glad we're having a heatwave this summer as the weather forecasters promised. Does anyone know when it's going to start?
Last but not least my three brads are in the bottom right corner.
Over the last few weeks we have been overwhelmed by the number of amazing entries at the Pink Elephant. I do hope this will be another bumper week of fabulous talent. Really looking forward to seeing everyone's work.
