Honestly why oh why do they have to have birthdays? Anyway this was a really simple quick little card to make, but I think it will bring a smile. It was created using an embossing folder from way back and then coloured paper in the centre to emphasise the design. A little tag added and jobs a good un - hopefully!
Of course Eli had to send a card too. His card orders have an easy recipe - dinosaurs on to make Eli happy and a photo of Eli for the person receiving them. Thank goodness for Craft Artist and my new digi kit 'Dino - mite'.
Don't think there are any challenges for dinosaur cards but here come the challenges I can enter...
Thank you everyone for looking and for leaving such lovely comments. They brighten my day.

I've become addicted to joining the challenges in the Snippet's Playground and this week I think I can feel especially proud of my cost effective entry of two small cards where the focal image was created using only a snippet left from another creation.
Infact the snippet was the die cut scalloped square which I cut out when gutting a piece of glitter card. Using the die cut snippet I cut a snowflake out of the centre and used the snowflake on one card and the piece with the cut out on another. Clever eh - I have my moments - unfortunately they are few and far between!
The bigger card of the two is a 5 by 5 and the other about 4 by 4. Think this size are just right for not so close friends and neighbours.
Sadly this is the very last of my favourite blue glitter card - sigh I will have to choose a new favourite colour.
Onto challenges...

Men should not be allowed birthdays - they are so hard to make cards for! No flowers, no ribbon - oh so tricky and just lately I seem to have been asked for loads of cards for these awkward creatures!
I've had this clock face background stamp for ages. Don't know why I've taken so long to use it as wow it stamps beautifully and could be used for so many things. The sentiments were printed out and then mat and layered. Not sure if it shows in the photo, but I have used a touch of glitter card and after saying no ribbon on men's card there is some on this - no bow though that would be going too far.
Check out the clock embellishment - I know it's sad but I'm in love with these charms. I bought two packs and then loved them so much I sent for two more. They are a bargain though and come in a huge box with tons of other goodies too - check Every Crafts a Pound out, but beware of the postage charge.
