A Simple Stepper Card

Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new challenge
A Simple Stepper Card.
Please visit the blog to see the DT's wonderful creations,
plus a link to make  simple stepper cards.
I used the link and found it was so easy. Once I made the
stepper card, then I added the design.
I used papers and toppers from an 8" Graphic 45 book
- Off To the Races.
All were backed with black card to add dimension.
Have fun making your stepper, I look forward to seeing them.

Puppy Love

The theme for this week, Cardz 4 Guyz   was set by our US Design Team member Andrea, who didn't consider there may be different ways to interpret Puppy Love, The team have however gone for the dog kind and not the immature young love kind.  Check out the inspiration here. We would like you to concentrate on the PUPPY element, we only ask for it to be suitable for a male person and that you have fun in the creating. My  card, concentrataing on the puppy aspect is from Kraftyhands CD  - Man About Town, which provided all the papers, elements and image. It even provides the template for the stepper card. Have fun everyone.

Stepper Card

At Cardz 4 Guyz over the next week the challenge is to make a Stepper Card. There are many different forms of stepper card, so you do have a wide choice. There are lots of tutorials and suggestions on You Tube and Pinterest, simply add Stepper card and you will be spoilt for choice. The style I have chosen is simple, with only a couple of cuts and few folds. The background is silver mirri board to give a bright contrast to the dark sky and leaves. The stamps are all from Sheena Douglass - A Little Bit Magical - The Quest. I have used TH Distress inks to colour the background sky. The leaves and the owl  have been coloured with various  Promarkers. The sentiment is from my stash. I thought this would make a suitable card for a male person who has been awarded either a degree or a certificate, to congratulate them on their success. If you have never made a stepper card, please do give it a try and share with us on the the challenge, maybe it is a STEP out of your comfort zone, go on have a go.  The DT have again provided us with some wonderful creative inspiration, please do pop over to see their projects.

Wheely Fun

I hope you have all had a lovely Easter and are ready to get back to crafting. We have a super challenge for you over at Cardz 4 Guyz, we would like to see your paper craft creation showing anything with wheels. The eight Design Team members have covered five different wheeled methods of transport, I know there are more, plus whilst we all went for wheeled transport there are other types of wheels around, so you can see how open this challenge for male orientated, young or older guyz is. Greatly looking forward to those who accept the challenge. For my card this week, I created a stepper card.  I used papers and designer sheets from a Debbie Moore Shabby Chic Travel CD. Reminds me so much of my youth, I suppose I was a bike chick but didn't know it then. To remind the visitors to the challenge blog, that we do accept anything in paper craft, ATC's, Fat Pages,Tags,  Scrap Book Pages, boxes,  I also added a scrap book page I made a number of years ago, with members of my family at a Vintage Rally. Please note the two young boys are now 18 and 19 year old.

It's Bingo Time Again

Addicted to Stamps are currently hosting their Bingo challenge I'm cutting it fine, but firstly hummed and hawed about which line to take.  Please pop over for they are having a DT call too.I eventually decided upon the diagonal line from top left to bottom right. SCORE - FREE - I chose EMBELLISHMENTS and PURPLE. I made a stepper card, the papers are from a Daydreamer pad. The fairy and sentiment are from  LOTV., all were coloured with Promarkers. The flowers were cut out with a Marianne die . I do hope you like it for I know I am always saying I don't do cute, but lately these LOTV stamps have inspired the cute creativity within me.
