CAS Christmas at MMM

Hello, today is the beginning of a two week challenge at
Before Fliss left the DT, ( we miss you ) she chose
CAS (Clean and Simple) CHRISTMAS
The Design Team have again produced some wonderful
inspirational cards for you, please pop over to take a peek.
I used a white scallop edge card, matted with silver mirri card,
then a mat of a gorgeous shade of blue.
The white stamping card has had Glamour Dust glued on all four sides,
which sadly,  it doesn't show clearly on the photo, you can see better if you
click on the photo to enlarge it.
I have long admired the polar bear stamp from Little Claire, which I purchased
recently. I'm not sure what it is called but isn't it just adorable?
I used Promarkers for the colouring.
The sentiment is also from Little Claire on the Snow people set of stamps.
Have fun and enjoy.

O is for Oval

Hello again, hope your well and thanks for the visit.
Today is the start of another two week challenge at
Silvi has chosen for us O is for OVAL
Please check out the Ovals from the Design Team.
I thought  maybe I should be adding another Christmas card
to my list of to do's.  I used a 5 x 7inch card, added some mirri card
around the edges. I first stamped the greeting with an old stamp in my stash.
I then die cut my oval onto the white card.
It was then dry embossed with a snowflake embossing folder.
I added crystals to the centre of the snowflakes.
The  Inkadinkado Santa stamp is one of my favourites, he was so popular
a few years ago but is rarely seen nowadays
  Coloured with Promarkers.
Santa was added to the card then the embossed piece added with foam pads.
Have fun.

Christmas in July @ MTTC

Hi, welcome to my blog, I hope your well. Today is the start of
another two weekly challenge at My Time To Craft - MTTC
Our challenge may get you kick started to begin preparing for the big
event of the year for most of us, especially for card makers.
Christmas in July
Please do check out the Design Team's creations.
I used a shaped card, I needed one to be tall enough to accommodate
all of the stamp I used for this card.
For two previous posts if you check back, I used the top 3 snowmen
for one card and the lower 3 for another card, to see just how
universal this stamp can be.
The stamp is Snow People by Woodware stamps.
I used kraft paper, darkened with Walnut Stain DI.  I embossed snowflakes
by Sheena Douglass with detailed white EP to create the background
The stamped snowmen were coloured with Promarkers.
Glitter added to the pop pops on the hats.
Shiny ribbon and a sentiment added.

Sparkles Challenges - Christmas In July

Hi, well, it being the 15th of the month, it is time once again for
a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.
The theme, chosen by Helen N is Christmas In July.
I am sponsoring this challenge with a small gift of a set
of Christmas stamps and rosettes. The Design Team have some
amazing inspiration for you. This is my second card in July
featuring the same stamp, a challenge I  have set myself.
I used a white scallop edge card, I stamped the set of
snowmen, masking off the remaining two snowmen
from this long fun stamp - Snow People from Woodware Stamps.
I drew a rectangle around the stamped image and cut out
pieces leaving no white background, only the snowmen are there.
I coloured it with blue and grey Promarkers.
Added lots of sparkly Glamnour Dust. There is a blue
insert to provide a colourful background and see through from the front.
The sentiment was cut from a die.
Hve fun, I look forward to visiting your blogs.

Christmas in July @ Cardz 4 Guyz

Hi everyone , today sees the start of a weekly challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz.
Julie has chosen Christmas In July.
This has proven to be a popular challenge at this time of the year in blogland,
so I decided to make as many cards as I can with only one stamp, in July.
The Design Team have such a varied display it would be a shame to miss them.
For my card, I have made a 7" square card, The papers are from a pack I bought
last year, from Do Crafts.
The stamp which you will see during July is Snow People from Woodware.
For this card I have coloured with Promarkers using reds and greens. The
panel was matted onto black card from my stash.
Two bought glittery snowflakes and a Christmas sentiment were added.

A Vintage Christmas Tag

Happy New Year to all of my visitors.

Today being the first of the month,  it is time for the all year round Christmas challenge blog
to share their new challenge, which has been chosen by Babs.
A Vintage Christmas Tag
I do hope you pop over for a peep at the DT's inspirational work.
For my tag, the main focal point is Santa from an Inkadinkado stamp
I have had for ever and ever., and I still love it.
I stamped the snowflakes with Versamark, added white EP from Stampendous
I then stamped Santa, placing a mask over his face.
I blended Distress inks Iced Spruce and Chipped Sapphire.
I coloured Santa's face with Promarkers and his glasses with a Sakura Gelly Roll black pen.
I stamped the greeting onto vellum, added some crystal gems and a ribbon to the tag.
Looking forward to your visit to the challenge blog and for any comments.
